Rocky's Rescue The aim of Rocky's Rescue is to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome the dogs we save. Rocky's Rescue was set up by Jean Corbett.

She fostered a dog named Rocky and loved him so much, she decided to name the rescue after him. As well as adopters, we are also looking for fosterers in all areas to take care of our dogs until we can find them a permanent home. We have lots of experience and are here for advice and guidance at any time. All our dogs are spayed/neutered except our puppies who may be too young. They are all vaccinated, vet checked and microchipped.

Your sponsorship support will make a huge difference to ALL the dogs in our care, some of whom have waited a lifetime to experience kindness, safety and comfort, some who have never known a home, others who have but have had this taken away.

This little beauty is Linda , about 1 year old and weighs around 10 to 13 kg. She is good with other dogs, cats and children. She likes to bathe and enjoys the water. At present Linda is learning to walk on a leash, but hasn’t quite perfected it yet although that will come with practice. She loves to play with and run after a ball and is learning the basic commands of sit, stay, come, paw.
Linda will be fully vaccinated, spayed (depending on age), microchipped, treated for fleas and worms and tested for Brucellosis before she travels.

This lovely girl is Rummy and she is approximately 4 months old. She's very gentle, sweet, and playful. She's got the saddest but the most cleverest eyes. She's used to cats and dogs. Rummy likes long cuddles and wants to be around people.

We are super excited to team up with Barking Buds who offer an Online Rescue Dog Support Membership.

We all know getting a new dog can be difficult, even more so when you do not know that background!

This membership allows rescue dog owners to have monthly support zoom as well as an online portal with lots of training videos which will help them to set themselves and their new furry friend up for life. We have two dogs, two inseparable friends who were abandoned on the street. First, Maffi the smaller dog was taken away so that people wouldn't kill her, and then after two days Teddi, the larger dog was taken away too. Maffi spent those two days grieving in the shelter while he was on the street waiting for her to return. It would be great if they could be adopted together. MAFFI, a two-year-old miniature girl, weighing only 12 kg. She is a little timid, but when she feels a hand, she turns into the most tender flower and asks for more cuddles with her paws. She has been spayed, vaccinated against rabies and microchipped. She is good with other dogs, and she adores her Teddi. TEDDI, he is a young boy, a gentle giant who enjoys human company and loves to be petted. He is cautious with unknown dogs, but if they are not abrupt, he is good. Once they meet, he becomes best friends. Teddi is 8-12 months old. He walks on a leash without any problems, but also follows a person without it. He weighs approx 36 kilos.
