A visit this afternoon to see poorly Basil!🤕 He thought it'd be a great idea to swallow a conker whilst he was out with his owners at the weekend.
This caused him to have an obstruction in his intestine, which needed an operation to fix.
Not only can conkers cause blockages, but if chewed they can also be poisonous to dogs (and other animals). So whilst Basil is feeling very sorry for himself, he had a lucky escape by swallowing the conker whole.😬
Wishing Basil a speedy recovery, he'll be running around with his brother Toby & the rest of the gang in no time❤️🤞🏼

THE BOY IS BACK IN TOWN👏🏼🥳🎉😭❤️ After 4 very long months Opie has been given the sign off from the vets & is free to enjoy exploring the big wide world again!!!
Happy is an understatement for us both. I am so proud of him for being brave, patient & reslient. He is cancer free🥹😁
I cannot thank all of my customers enough for their understanding, patience & flexibility during this time. Thanks to those who leant me a shoulder to cry on during the toughest moments, his healing wasn't straight forward.
Thank you so much to my friends & family for helping me with Opie day to day. Always checking in & asking about him & helping me to think through big decisions about his health.
Also a big thanks to Dragon Vets who have gone above & beyond when treating & looking after Opie. He has never been a fan of the vets, but their kindness & care during this time has completely changed that. I've never seen a dog so excited to go into the vets😂
To enquiries I have missed during this time, I am really sorry. I will go through my messages on different platforms in the next few days & get back to no matter how long ago they were sent.
Here's to a future full of health, happiness & freedom for Opie❤️❤️❤️

So gorgeous, I feel like I should include a trigger warning for all those puppy broody humans that may stumble across this post!😅
Whilst her favourite hobby may be eating ants🤣, Flora is a shining example of a well balanced Labrador puppy. Her owners have been working really hard to start her off on the right track, building up her patience, directing her focus & encouraging calm energy.
During puppy visits with Flora I have also been working on this, giving her owners small pointers to help them along the way, practicing some heel work & sending adorable photos like these!😍
In preparation for group walks when she's a big girl Flora has come for some short rides in the van, to get used to all the new smells, noises & motions. She's taken it all in her stride very bravely, not batted an eyelid!
So excited for her to graduate to big girl group walks & make lots of friends!🥳💖
