We're deeply saddened to hear about the passing of Graham Barnes last weekend. Graham was our longest trading customer, he'd been coming in for over 50 years! He joined us for our 170th anniversary dinner last year, swapping his trademark blue dungarees for a tuxedo! We were all very fond of him and will miss him. Our deepest condolences to his family for their loss.

EDIT 12/06 - Road repaired and now OPEN

Please note that part of Albion Street is closed outside the rear of John Lewis due to a sink hole appearing in the bus lane. Diversion signs are in place. You're still able to access the branch via the end of the Albion Street by St James Carpark.

All other roads are open as normal

For this easter Clive, our Operations Manager, asked for donations and easter eggs for Heart Heroes from our staff, customers and suppliers. Heart Heroes was chosen as it's a charity close to Clive's heart. His granddaughter, Elsie-Rose has CHD (congenital heart disease) and had her first heart surgery at just 2 weeks old.

We were all overwhelmed by the amount of support that was received and Clive smashed his last record of 300 eggs + £1000 of donations and vouchers!

This year, so many eggs were received that they could be sent to more places!

Heart Heroes
300 easter eggs, colour books, crayons, around £400 in vouchers, £250 cash with many more people paying donations directly to the charity.
