We've come to the decision to stop our breeding adventures. We can't thank you all enough for the support we've received but our time and effort is now needed elsewhere.

Those who had had babies from us we'll always be about for advice if needed.

We have no more availability and do not foresee anymore in the coming 3 year's minimum. It's an end but not a goodbye. We may be back one day.

We've always prided ourselves on producing quality animals and I think we can say we've done that.

So with pride and thanks.

We have very limited numbers of babies available at the moment due to a poor success rate of a recently clutch.

Hector has recouped enough to be rehomed to a knowledgeable home 🏡

He's gone to . I work at this facility so will be able to keep a watchful eye. Hes still on tea baths to help him along his way. But I'm sure you'll agree what a difference 😁

We've not had as much success as we usually do this time arround unfortunately. But the babies are growing well and are transitioning on to blood worm. This is where the growth rate speeds up massively... Watch this space

Great news Hector has started eating!

Often getting rescues to eat is difficult, they are not only experiencing ill health but will likely have undergone stress when traveling.

Hector has taken a likening to blood worm which is fine (don't worry he'll soon be on to more substantial foods before anyone says anything) but when I'm unwell all I want is chocolate and I say when unwell you should get when you like!

This little one came to us yesterday (we made a 3 hour round trip to collect him).

This is Hector, his owners decided they could not provide the care he needed and so reached out for help.

They have tried their best for him, but unfortunately we're given the incorrect information from the pet store they purchased him from.

As you can see he's got a few things going on, but we're hopeful (knock in wood) that we can help him get to a place of better health.

He's now in sechem prime, treated water with Indian almond leaves and will undergo a treatment course of salt baths to try and treat the apparent infection on his face.

He's eaten over night even with his I'll health and the journey. Which is a good sign.

More updates to come on his progress soon.

Say Hello to Frankie!

A previous Cariad Axolotls baby all grown up! And look how handsome they are.

Frankies owner has asked us if we have any availability at the moment, and many others have as well.

Unfortunately we had stop breeding whilst I bought a house 🏡 and moved! Currently in the process of renovation. But... As soon as we can we'll be back at it!

Having recently gone back in to their main tank Axey not in training for the next Axolotl Olympics, she's demonstrating a beautiful one handed stand here.

Thank you for all the well wishes for the move. We are in (almost all of us, just the newt to find room for now). Lots and lots of work to do but all in good time.
