Great 2 days at ValeView Equestrian for our recent Front Runners Camp.
Great to have some new faces on this camp and thanks to all the Front Runners gang for making them welcome.
Good use with the EQ bands for straightness in the flatwork sessions.
Simon Grieve coached the SJ sessions - thanks and was inspirational!
Riders battled with the gusty winds and flags falling on the XC - well done to all. Some very good turning lines - Holly and Cary’s!
We look forward to having Katie Williams again on the next camp.
Big thanks to those doing the coffee runs and the poo picking!!!

Absolutely fabulous inaugural Front Runners annual awards night - generously hosted by Alexandra Taylor-Clarke! Awards were as follows:

Front Runner of the Year: Carys Thomas (Highly Commended Holly Clarke)

Congratulations to all the winners and many thanks to the Clarke family, the parent committee and everyone who came for making it a memorable evening. Looking forward to next year’s already!

Excited to finally announce the 2024/5 cohort for Front Runners - congratulations to everybody who has been accepted onto the programme. First camp gets things underway at Aston next weekend, with January bringing another camp at Unicorn, sports psychology workshops with Steffi Dampney - The Sporting Difference, feeding advice with Baileys Horse Feeds and the annual Front Runners Party and Awards night!

It has been a mixed day Osberton International Horse Trials for Front Runners , unfortunately Sophia Paul had a fall and has been admitted to hospital ,she has a broken collarbone and is having further investigations- we wish her all the best.
Very big thanks to the medical team who were brilliant at the event.
Congratulations to Florence Drewitt who standing in 1st and 3rd place in the 2*P and Chloe Chan is in 7th , both girls riding super XC rounds over the technical track. Despite the earlier rain this week, the ground is amazingly good.
Florence Wiles nailed a great test in the 2*L to be leading the section.
All to go for tomorrow,

More great performances from Front Runners at Chillington: Dan 3rd and Lila 6th in the 90u18 Championships; Daisy 7th in 80u18 Championships; Scarlett 3rd in her first ever BE90 - well done all 🤩

Action-packed day at Cornbury today, with XC for ponies, 2*u18 and 3*u21. A mixture of results - huge congratulations to Flo Burnop on finishing 3rd in the 2*u18 and double clear on her other horse too. Also to Carys for finishing on her dressage score for 12th in a huge 3*u21 class. Lots of other great efforts plus a few disappointments - commiserations to those who had “learning days” today, onwards and upwards! Video is of Nancy acing her first ever pony trial with a lovely clear xc 🤩

Just got back from Cornbury House Horse Trials, such a super venue with perfect weather today.
Really proud to help our Front Runners with Katie Williams.
Great to see some good dressage and SJ.
Good luck tomorrow, remember those gears and leg on!!

We are very excited for this weekend - with Front Runners competing at both Cornbury (3*YR, 2*J, 105Pony) and Chillington (90u18 Championships) there’s loads going on - very best of luck to all of you!
