Dear Jessie, you precious pickle
It’s been One whole week without you💔

We had a lovely little service for you at your last resting place, you would have loved the open field there !
And again much like on your final breath the sun was shining bright .. my little one you looked beautifully at peace 😘

We still see you in every room, and we feel you looking at us !

We have told everyone we can think of that you knew, liked or just tolerated !
They all say similar things, but mostly they mention your character and your superiority !
We got beautiful flowers, cards and kindness from all x

This has been a very painful, sad and heartbreaking week… for years when I felt low you were my cheerful cuddle and my understanding ear… We are a bit lost without you…

Hope you have found your speed again and are running like someone left the gate open…in rainbow 🌈 heaven xx

To our Jessie

You came, You loved, You grabbed every ounce of life and every morsel of sausage and you absolutely stole our hearts ❤️

You bossed your desires and emotions to the limits and always had the last word with your eyes..
Your stare challenged us and loved us in equal measure 🙄
Your wanderlust once had a whole village hunting for you 🐾

We were your willing servants - we knew our place. Your pillow on the bed and your sofa space will be forever acknowledged and never occupied, I promise 🤪

Run my pickle and find your brother Jack who showed you the ropes and your big sister Lola who always had your back ! The Dobermann and the Ridgeback who loved and admired you..
They knew that your 6.5kg size was mostly courage and feisty spirit - you ruled ❤️

We will continue to love you everyday of our life’s and even though the pain of you dying is immense, we wish we could do it all again.

You were unique, wonderful and a complete menace but you made us so happy 😁

To infinity and beyond the rainbow 🌈

I did not bring you into this world, but I slept on my belly.
It was not necessary to nurse you because I fed you with my love every day.
I didn't change your diapers, but I did pick up your p**p with a baggie. I didn't calm your crying with a pacifier, but I gave you security when fear made you tremble and you ran into my arms.
I didn't take you on the swings, but we spent hours in the park together.
I don't protect you from bullying, but if someone growls or attacks you, I defend you tooth and nail against anyone.
I don't teach you to write and draw, but I teach you to be polite.
I challenge you, punish you and forgive you like a father.
I miss you when I do not see you.
I take you everywhere with me, and I think of you as a son. At night I wake up to see if you sleep next to me, I look at you and caress you.
You do not have my blood, but between the two there is a unique bond.
Happy day to the people who take care of our pets like a son who does not speak, but who tells us I love you with his eyes.
Happy day to all the people who love their pets with parental love.”

Sometimes though - rehoming or rescuing whilst very special is just lucky.
They have not been badly treated, some just need another new pad ❤️ we re-homed our Lola and she had a super start in life, just a change of circumstances… bought her to us and we were so lucky she found us. I will always be grateful to her first family for the gift ###
