Horse’s hoof health is crucial to their overall wellbeing 🐴
Happy Feet has been specially formulated for laminitic horses and ponies where the quality of nutrition must be kept high but the calorie, sugar and starch levels restricted
It also has a complete vitamin and mineral supplement, high levels of plant based antioxidants and biotin than any other fibre based laminitic feed on the market!
Name a more satisfying sound, we’ll wait…!🐴
Equine edition, of course!
We are over the Moon with our New Forest yearling colt, Lucky Lane Spitfire. He came 2nd in his class, and won the prize for the best Forest bred pony. Many thanks to Jamie Rashbrook for being his handler.
Fed on Show Mix, of course😊
Balanced Horse Feeds Kaydrith Silver Sprite enjoyed his 5th Indoor Carriage Driving competition and went on to win the Open Pony Class at Merrist Wood yesterday.
As he is a 4yo Stallion we are not even pushing him forward in the obstacle section, he just seems to love it.
Next season he will be much more mature and physically stronger.
We are also looking forward to seeing his 2 foals that are due this coming spring from two of our Thistledown mares.
How trainable is your horse or pony?
When behaviour, trust and performance is key, whether you're competing or hacking and riding for leisure and pleasure, you can rely on feeding from the Balanced range.
Here's Balanced Horse Feeds Winton Starbuck, a stunning Welsh Section stallion proving his manners whilst having a bit of fun out exercising yesterday.

A bit of fun before my fall. When your horse has the last laugh. Turn volume on for full effect😉
On my way to the show ring on a very calm Chester.....that was until I was met by the Royal Cavalry Of Oman display team in its entirety complete with carriages (Chesters nemesis)😟I was sandwiched between the river and the riders, and poor Chester flipped out BUT in all honesty he kept me safe and did nothing stupid, when quite frankly I think he had every reason to dump me and bolt in the other direction. Horses are amazing, we expect a great deal from them and sometimes we are reminded of how much they trust us to keep them safe🥰😉
Chesters Individual Show🥰
Bathing Chester. I have discovered a new tool which I stole from my husband😁.....a Lynx bath scrunchie with a plastic handle which makes the shampoo whip up to a frothy frenzy so you can use much less😃I use Neem Shampoo (bought from Byhurst Farm) which is cheap as chips and I had more success with Chesters Sweetitch last year using this, to calm and soothe his skin. When dry I apply Benzyl Benzoate (also from Byhurst Farm and cheap as chips) 😉direct to the base of his mane on both sides with a hair dye bottle (which gets the product directly into the skin)😉Clipping was so much easier to do once he was squeeky clean🥰
Video of my individual from todays clinic....I had to remember that I was not riding Cosmos, therefore unless I wanted to end up on the moon, I was to keep my legs very still😁not tooooo shabby😉#balancedhorsefeeds #teambalanced
Chaz and Dave getting ready for their run at the Pony Magazine Big Day Out. Chaz is certainly looking forward to it!
My husband very kindly lent me his super hacking pony, Richmond Cosmos the last two weekends to have a bit of fun. He is the polar opposite of Chester and I am still getting use to having to use my legs (rather alot) 😁Last week we took him to the BSPS show at Golden Cross Equestrian Centre and Cosmos came 3rd in his Open/Restricted M & M Class. Such a sweet boy🥰
Next up Dressage! Which is not my favourite dicipline as I find it so very confusing. So this year I have picked one test to stick with for the whole season in the hope that it will all start to make sense to me😉Novice 34 is my chosen test which is very busy but flows well. My Welsh Sec D Horsmans Outlaw (Chester) needs to be challenged and kept interested so this suits him perfectly. Here we are winning our class and gaining our highest score so far of 79.52%😀Super pleased with Chester who is really growing up....I can now complete a whole test without him throwing a buck or spook into the mix😁Apologies for the use of voice at the end....but I was just a little bit happy😉
Horsmans Outlaw (Chester) is having a great run of luck. 2nd in his Novice 34 Dressage Test at Felbridge.....giving me a lovely ride remaining calm and focused. Super proud of this little chap🥰
