Rehabilitating reactive dogs takes dedication and patience on the owner's part. Aggression is usually a conditioned survival response, meaning it's a hard habit to break - the dog needs to learn over time that you can provide safety, and that they can fall back on different behaviours to gain space when they need it. Well done to Mocha and his owners (I prefer Guardians) for the progress they're already making after just a couple of weeks! π
Jamie is available to help you transform your reactive dog into a happy sociable one - and to help with any training/behavioural issues.

Spaniels are often prone to obsessive behaviour, and Bella had been completely fixated on the back garden, constantly crying to be out, and barking and flying uncontrollably around when let out. She's much more settled around the house now, and totally focused on her owners when in the garden.

Roni Mo is 1 today! ππ₯°
So satisfying to see Zena now looking to her guardian for guidance, feeling more relaxed around other dogs (and cars), instead of feeling like she has to react aggressively toward them. π

So nice to get an update (and this lovely video), on Winston the Mini Schnauzer, who previously had been anxious and stressed around other dogs - overjoyed to see him having such fun with the new friends he's now making! My job is great! π
Little Roni's Retrieve is coming on leaps and bounds (if you'll pardon the pun)! Helps that he's chuffed to bits with his new frisbee wotzit! π€©
Fantastic to catch up with the cute and charismatic Alenka, and see how well she's doing with her loose lead work! π
Little Cecil had become very protective of food (and dirty dishes being loaded into the dishwasher) to the point where he has bitten a couple of people. Here he is after just a few minutes work, having learned that he gets rewarded for letting his human load the pots!

Most dogs like chasing a ball, but most of those don't like letting go of them so their human can continue the game! Here I am teaching Roni to happily drop the ball - by the end of the video after just a couple of minutes training he was starting to respond to the Verbal Cue, rather than having to rely on showing him the other ball.

The beautiful Bella, learning it's worth her while to walk by her human, instead of dragging her across The Fell!
