She’s worked with us since July and has a keen interest in laboratory work.👩‍🔬

She regularly looks under the microscope at slides with samples from urine, lumps and blood! 🔬

This helps diagnose and gives us the best treatment plan!😁

We would like to wish two of our nurses, Melissa and Daniel a massive congratulations on their recent engagement. 💍
While they were on holiday Daniel popped the question and took Melissa by surprise!☀️
What a fantastic way to do it, all the staff are over the moon for you both🤍🥳

This is gorgeous Cici who belongs to our long term locum vet Veronica!❤️

Cici was in for a blood test after Veronica was concerned as she was vomiting on and off.🩸💉

Cici gets very stressed coming into the vets so Veronica gave some gabapentin to relax her beforehand. 🧘‍♀️
She was so well behaved and got her blood results back which luckily were all clear!😍

These 3 cute kittens stayed the day with us last week for castration before they can be rehomed! 🐈‍⬛
They were all very playful and loved all the attention!😍
They are now able to be adopted from RSPCA Felledge, we work closely with the charity and know someone can give these boys a loving home! 🏡

Ivy looking adorable while recovering from her spay procedure!❤️‍🩹

After having any procedure we recommend:

🩸Reducing exercise and keeping your pet on a lead while on a walk
🩸Wearing a bodysuit or buster collar at all times to prevent patient interference
🩸Checking the wound daily for signs of infection
🩸Giving a bland diet after having an anaesthetic

If your pet has had any type of operation on collection a nurse or vet will explain all post operative care, this can take 10-15 minutes! ⏰

Check out Carlo enjoying kale after his castrate! 🧡🥬 Volume up for some ASMR crunching sounds! 🔊 When bringing any small furry to practice for an operation or hospital stay we ask that you bring a delicious packed lunch as well, this is so we can encourage them to eat and prevent gut stasis! 🍴🥗🐰

Look at how happy Runa and Mika were to see there paw-rents after they spent the day with us. Look at their happy bum wiggle🐶🥰

Hershey was in last week to be neutered following the new laws that have been put in place. As you can see she is the sweetest girl and got lots of love from all member of staff while she was in with us. 💕🍫 Her tail was going non-stop all day and she had lots of kisses to give.💋

Utopia update🐦 As you can see Utopia has changed a lot in the last few days. She has definitely found her wings and her feathers have started to develop. 🪶She is now able to eat by herself and is putting weight on nicely. For everyone asking what she is, we believe she is a baby pigeon.

Meet Utopia🐥 This little baby was brought into us on Tuesday after a member of the public found her in a bin.🥲 When she was brought into us she was very skinny and very weak, our nurse Ardene has been looking after her hopefully nursing her back to good health. ❤️ So far she is doing very well and is getting stronger by the day.💪🏻

Puzzle feeders are the best!

Puzzle feeders - the way to go!!🧩 You can feed cats and dogs using a variety of puzzle types.🐶🐱 They help: - Slow down the rate of eating - provide mental stimulation🧠 -reduce boredom and destructive behaviours - mimic how animals would have to work for their food in the wild🦁🐺 - make meal times fun!!! National Adoption Week ❤️ Once a week one of our vets and a nurse go to RSPCA Felledge to check on their animals, every once in a while we end up bringing one home!! I fell in love with Gina the moment I saw her. She was absolutely terrified of everyone and everything. But with lots of patience from RSPCA staff and regular visits for Gina to get to know us, she finally came to her forever home. She is now a completely different animal. She is so gentle, loving and playful and her character is really starting to shine ✨ . Check her out on her first visit to the beach on a recent holiday It’s been wonderful to see her develop and gain confidence. If you are thinking of getting a new pet I would highly recommend checking out the local rescue centres.
