Due to a cancellation, Puglins Holiday Camp has availability from Thursday, 16th January, for two weeks—and we’re offering a reduced rate

Normally £40 per dog per night (£70 for two) for 24hrs of care, now just £25 per night for one, or £40 per night for two.

Located in Chester, we’re a 5-star rated, council-approved home specializing in care for senior dogs and pups with special needs like deafness or blindness.

We are single household only with no other resident dogs.

Your furry friend will enjoy our full VIPaw treatment in a cosy, loving environment.

Just ask our recent camper, Pixie! At 14 years young, Pixie is blind and deaf, but she still amazes us every day—especially when she hears the fridge door opening from across the house! 🐾 We’ve absolutely adored having Pixie stay with us, and she’s proof that every Pug deserves a safe, caring space when their humans are away.

Reservations are open up to 4 months in advance—perfect for both last-minute plans and early arrangements.

Exciting Update from Puglins Holiday Camp

It’s been a while since our last post, and a lot has changed. After losing Stella and Barney, life hasn’t been the same, leading us to sell up and move to a more residential area. We’ve taken time to get everything just right, and we’re thrilled to announce that Puglins Holiday Camp is back with a five-star license!

Puglins is run purely for the love of pugs, so we only take bookings 3–4 months in advance to allow for family time. We’re primarily welcoming back existing campers but are now open for new enquiries.

Our rates are £40 per night for solo Pug boarding and £70 per night for dual Pug boarding (two pugs from the same household). We offer single-household boarding, so your pug will be our only furry guest (or just with their sibling).

🌟 Tribute to Stella: The Heart of Puglins Holiday Camp🌟

Five years ago today, a little soul named Stella came into my life, marking what would be an unforgettable journey of love, lessons, and the eventual heartache of saying goodbye.

Today, we remember Stella, our first rescue from Muffin Pug Rescue, a brave girl who, despite being blind, showed us the world through her heart. It's a bittersweet anniversary, as last April, we bid farewell to Stella, and just five weeks later, to Barney, our second rescue.

Their departures have left a void that words can hardly fill.

Our home, bought with Stella and Barney in mind, was their kingdom—a place with a loving atmosphere, a beautiful garden they adored, and the beginnings of what Puglins Holiday Camp would become.

It was their love that inspired me to open our doors to other pugs, offering them a home away from home. Although their absence is deeply felt, especially as my daughter and I continue this journey, their spirit remains the cornerstone of our home and business.

As life moves forward, our needs evolve. We're planning to relocate to a more central location, continuing to offer the warmth and care that Puglins is known for, with beautiful gardens and walking routes for our pug guests.

Due to this transition, we're currently accepting bookings up to three months in advance, understanding the challenges of planning for those last-minute holiday needs.

This afternoon, as a tribute to Stella (and Barney in spirit), we invite you to join us in lighting a candle for her, celebrating the love and light she brought into our lives.

Stella, and indeed Barney, were not just pets; they were the soul of Puglins Holiday Camp, embodying the love and dedication that continues to drive us every day.

In remembering Stella today, we not only honor her memory but also reaffirm our commitment to providing a loving, caring environment for our pug guests, just as we did for her and Barney.

Here's to Stella, whose legacy lives on in the happy barks and wagging tails of our pug visitors.

Thank you for being a part of our journey. Your support means the world to us, especially during times of change and reflection.

Here's to new beginnings, cherished memories, and the love that forever binds us to our furry friends.

🕯️🐾 Lighting a Candle for Stella and Barney 🐕

This evening, I found myself at Chester Cathedral with a special purpose in mind. In the calm stillness, I lit a candle for Stella and Barney. It's my first Christmas without them, and I truly miss them. 🌟

To those in our Puglins community who have also lost furry friends, perhaps you might light a candle too. It's a small act, but one that keeps their memory alive in our hearts. 🕯️💕
