Price changes

Good evening everyone,
From 1st January my prices will be as follows:-

1 hour walk £18
45 minute walk £15
Extra dog from same household £7

Home boarding £35 per night
Dog day care £30

Drop off/pick up for daycare and boarding 8am-9am/5pm-6pm
Other times can be organised if requested.

Un neutered dogs and dogs under the age of 1 are not accepted.

All dogs must be up to date with yearly vaccinations, kennel cough, flea and worming.

Cat/small animal visit £12

Free meet and greet with all animals prior to any services.

All prices are subject to change on bank holidays/weekends etc.

Good afternoon everyone,
I am very happy to let everyone know that before my holiday I had my home boarding inspection from the council and I now have a 3 star 2 year license. 🥰🐾

I am unable to get more than 3 stars at the moment as I do not meet more than 50% of the higher standard requirements. This doesn’t affect the care and love the dogs get in any way. These are the higher standard requirements and they are optional:-

🐾Bathrooms, hallways and partitioned rooms are not used as designated rooms.
(I don’t use any of these areas as designated rooms).

🐾 There must be a member of permanent, full-time staff with an appropriate Ofqual regulated Level 3 qualification. (I don’t have this qualification but I have many others!)

🐾 Ventilation must be a managed, fixed or portable, air system to maintain temperatures in all weathers. This can be an air conditioning unit or removable fans installed safely away from animals.
There must be a designated other person or member of staff who can cover any emergency, so that the dogs are never left alone.
(As I live by myself I am unable to be with the dogs 24 hours).

🐾 Any outside space will have 2 secure physical barriers between any dog and any exit.
(I only have 1 back gate so can’t qualify for this).

🐾 Only dogs from the same household are boarded at any one time. (I have dogs from other households but ensure they are suitable to stay together).

🐾 Dogs must be exercised at least twice per day. Each dog must have a written daily exercise regime including lead exercise and free running in a secure area. There must be an alternative form of enrichment planned for dogs which cannot be exercised for veterinary reasons for the same periods of time. ( I am unable to follow this everyday at the moment but I am working towards it).

Good afternoon everyone,
These are my holiday dates/days off for the rest of this year:-
October 25th-28th
November 8th-24th
December 5th-9th and the 12th
I will finish on the 19th December this year and be back on 6th Jan.
I still have boarders/other animals to feed and check in on during this time but won’t be doing walks.

These are my holiday dates/days I will be off for 2025.
As I do home boarding most weeks I am working 7 days a week. I have to put some weekends aside to have some time off/away. If any of these change I will let everyone know. Thanks.

I have made the decision not to take on any more new dogs for boarding at this current time. I am already so busy and don’t have much space left even for next year. I want to be able to help the client base I already have.

Boarding and daycare.
Drop off and pick up times are 8-9am and 5-6pm.
Please appreciate that the time around these times I am walking dogs and feeding other animals etc. I may not be at the premises between these times and cannot change other commitments to wait at the house.
If pick up or drop off times are missed then you will have to wait until the next pick up/drop off time available.
If this is the case then it will be charged at daycare/another night boarding.
Dogs will only be accepted/ picked up at other times if this is pre arranged.

Cancellation policy for boarding.
Please appreciate this is my business and my sole income. I am inundated with requests for boarding so I have most likely turned people away to keep your booking.
If this booking is then cancelled and I can’t fill the space I am losing out on my sole income.
Home boarding is very different to kennels and due to this I get booked up very quickly with only have a few spaces available.
This shows what payment will need to be made if a booking is cancelled.

28 days or less before booking - full fee payable.
29-56 days before booking - 50% of fee payable.
57-85 days before booking - 25% of fee payable.
More than 85 days notice - no fee payable.

Please note that all dogs for boarding or daycare, must have fully up to date vaccinations, kennel cough, flea and worming.
Under no circumstances can I accept any dogs who are not fully covered.

I strive to ensure that all dogs in my care are kept in a happy and safe environment.
