🧼Clean horse
Before your horse is clipped, please ensure your horse is clean and totally dry - dirt, wet fur and excess grease can wear down blades and damage clipper motors. I recommend bathing or at least hot clothing your horse the day before clipping.
If your horse is excessively dirty or wet an extra “dirty beastie” charge will be added of £15.
💰Deposit
I require a 50% deposit to secure your booking. This is non refundable.
❌ Cancellations
If you need to re-arrange your appointment, please give at least 2 days (48 hours) notice. This gives me a chance to re-advertise your appointment. You can change your appointment day once if over 48 hours notice is given.
If cancellations are made with less than 48 hours notice given you will not be refunded your deposit or be able to defer your appointment to a later date.
✂️Unable to clip
If I am unable to clip the horse for any reason such as - the horse is too wet, the horse requires sedation etc, there is still a charge for my time and travel costs.
💉Sedation
If getting the vet to sedate, please make sure they are aware of the time your clip is booked. Anytime I spend waiting around will be charged at £20 per hour.
💔Damages
If any damage to equipment is incurred because you would like to try without sedation, you’re aware your horse can be difficult or the horse makes a malicious act such as striking out, kicking out, barging must be paid for by you. All costs for broken blades and/or to the clippers/ wires are the responsibility of the owner for all the damage caused and subsequent repair/ replacement costs in such cases.
Thanks for your understanding.
