Vinnie the Cane Corso!

He started sessions due to his nervousness around new dogs and people, especially with his size and strength. This was becoming a real issue for his owners 😔

With some time and structure, here he is in a busy coffee shop, being very well-behaved!

Great work from Vinnie and his owner 👏

A trip out to Cheshire Oaks for this session!

As you can see from his harness, he is in training to be a medical alert dog, his owners contacted me as they also wanted to work on a few other issues they were having.

We worked on his public access training as well as general manners and even worked on his detection work!

It's fair to say he was rather tired when he got home 😁

Another one in Chester 😃

This lad started sessions due to his reactivity due to his fear of new things. After multiple bad experiences with both people and dogs, his default setting had become to bark and 'make them go away' 😔

Here he is though, enjoying his pup cup, after working hard to tackle his fears 👌

Quick Boden update

Each day, he's returning more back to his usual self. This morning, he has been bringing me presents 🎁 😆
He's also loving the extra food and treats he's been getting, to the point he looks at me and starts licking his lips!

We will be having a break from lessons from the 9th May till the 27th May, last availability before then is filling up quickly, so if you are after a session or a follow up don't leave it too late to book 😄

A naughty Kelpie!

Her owners contacted me with a very long list of all the issues they were having with her, including a warning from the police 🚓 🙄

So we went right back to basics and built up from there!

An hour later, her owner was amazed at how well behaved she could be and that she wasn't a lost cause!

Saddies first visit out to Chester!

It was packed, and Saddie did amazing. Loose lead walking, ignoring other dogs and people, and calm whilst inside a coffee shop ☺️

We even had people coming up to us and commenting how well behaved she was 😉

Poor Boden 😔

He's had a week from hell, multiple trips to the vets, a stay at the Animal Hospital at Leahurst, and every test you can think of, with Anemia 😢

He is now back home with the others, with medication and plenty of rest! He's very tired and sore, but he's still here, most importantly.

Thank you to all those who have wished him well and to those whose lessons I have had to reschedule at short notice. Needless to say, he will be having a break from coming on lessons for a while and will be having some rest at grandads house. However, with him home and stable lessons will be resuming as usual, especially with a rather large vets bill...

Will keep you all posted with him

Over to Runcorn for this session!

This lad had some issues with people coming to the house and also while out walking.

They had spent time with another trainer before me, which had caused the dog to redirect aggression on his lead, and in some cases, his owner 😥

We had to go right back to basics and work on lead conditioning and also making him soft again as the previous training had made him very tough!

His owner and him did great and showed light at the end of the tunnel!

Creed the Frenchie

He might look familiar to some of you. He's currently under foster for Ark Angels, and unfortunately, his behaviour was making it more difficult for him to find a forever home! 😔

So his foster owner and the owner of Ark Angles contacted me to see how I can help give Creed the best chance of finding a new home!

Lots covered from behaviour at the house to his lead walking and manners outside of the house!

His lesson fee was also donated back to the charity to help the other dogs in need, my good deed for the day! 🙏

It has taken a lot of hard work and dedication to get the business to where it is now.
From training dogs when I was 18, 4 years of university studying animal behaviour to now at 31, yes I know I look a lot older 😳 🤣
Multiple dogs bites, literally millions of steps walked, every breed you can imagine, every behaviour you can think of, and 1000's of dogs and owners helped 😄

The goal for this year is to get to over 10k follows and 100 reviews, and still help lots of dogs and owners, of course!

George, the rescue!

He was becoming a handful for his owner to walk with his reactivity towards other dogs 🐕

With some tweaking and some polish, he was able to walk nicely on the lead and also ignore other dogs while out on his walk 😃

Don't let her appearance fool you!

Every time she would go to 'nanny's' house, she would cause utter chaos!

From causing fights with the other dogs to general over excitement! Unfortunately, she was becoming a chore for 'nanny' to look after, so her owner called me in for a session to improve on her behaviour.

Second trainer for this lad!

He was highly reactive to other dogs while out on his walks 😔
His owners had been working with another trainer for over 6 months to be told,'There is nothing I can do for you!'

An hour later, we were walking past other dogs much calmer with no reactions!
Still some way to go, but a massive step in the right direction 👏
