Polo lessons and polo experience days are held at our purpose built facility in Cheshire. Polo lessons can also be held at private facilities and polo clubs countrywise, offering the very best polo service available in the United Kingdom. J F Polo Academy offers the highest standard of tuition to all levels of rider and player (including absolute beginners) wanting to have a go at experiencing one

of the oldest and most glamours sports in the world. Our aim has been and always will be to make the sport as inclusive as possible to anyone who wishes to participate as our polo academy. We also provide polo exhibition matches, corporate / team building polo days for large groups. JAMES FIELDING, an experienced HPA polo instructor who plays professionally and teaches all year round world-wide, conducts all polo lessons and polo experience days on and off site. We are located in Great Barrow, 7 miles east of Chester, which is located just 15 minutes from Cheshire & Chester Polo Club

Polo Groom Job Vacancy

We are looking for full or part time dedicated grooms for the 2025 season. Work is done alongside professionals who are happy to give training where needed.

The job includes general yard duties (polo ponies live out), exercising easy polo ponies, tacking up for clients/academy activities and assisting professionals with young horses (tacking up). Grooms will have the opportunity to travel with the team to events such as polo tournaments, club chukkas and The Royal Cheshire County Show.

No polo experience is required
Riding is optional
No visas
No accommodation
