Over 35 years experience in dog handling and training. PTTLS qualified instructor. I provide training not only to the dog but also to the owner/handler. from the basics, The correct way to hold the leash and put the collar/chain on your dog and training the dog walking to heel without pulling, advancing as far as you wish to progress up to show/display standards if preferred. I use a vast range of

training methods which I gear to suite the dog and handler. Having a dog as a companion should be an enjoyable experience for both of you, A dog in common with a child, they need to know their boundaries, to behave in a way that you want them to, that is the easy part, The handler/owner needs to be consistent with the timing and appropriate commands given and what behaviour they accept from the dog,
I provide the full package to dog and owner/handler. I have dealt with every Dog /Handler problem imaginable, I call on over forty years experience in Dog and Handler training. I was a Police Dog Handler for over twenty years, during this time I was assigned to Royalty and VIP protection, and the training of Police handlers and dogs. In addition to public obedience and dog handler skills training I have more recently been involved in the training of over Two hundred Handlers and dog teams from troubled African, Eastern Europe and Arab Countries. English was not their first language so communication was not easy, I studdied and attained a teaching qualification to enable me to get my point over effectively which is beneficial to my training lessons now. I have developed training methods which provide much quicker results. I provide training in all aspect s of dog handling from puppy socialization through to display standards either in group classes or individual lessons where required and home visits if preferred. all at very competitive prices. Confidence training today with Art and ZEUS his 20mth old American Bulldog. Who was terrified of traffic, small steps, progress being made.

Today was a good day. Through gentle steps we helped this very brave lady who for 40yrs has been terrified of dogs. She was able to stroke, feed treats and pose for photos with the other star Nancy Noodles the springer.

Ten new dogs and handlers to train. 37C with lots distractions. Few weeks hard work ahead

Janet and Tyson second session doing really well, no longer dragging her across the road, met a few dogs today, no aggressive behaviour. Now Janet going to work on her leash work. Well done.
