Hi everyone, I have been informed today that there are unfortunately a couple of cases of kennel cough in the village 🦠

Symptoms:
-persistent cough
-runny nose
-sneezing
-eye discharge

Or in some cases:
-lethargy
-loss of appetite
-mild fever

If your dog is exhibiting any of these symptoms it is VITAL that you cancel your appointment. Kennel cough is extremely contagious. If your dog is seen exhibiting any of these symptoms whilst they’re in my care, they will be immediately sent home and I will have to do a thorough deep clean before allowing any dogs back in.

It is particularly dangerous to puppies, elderly dogs and dogs with underlying health issues. Dogs who are vaccinated against kennel cough can still become infected.

It would be a good idea to keep your dogs on shorter leads whilst they’re out walking to prevent them from getting too close to other dogs, as dogs can be infected but may not show signs yet as they can take a few days to develop.

Please contact me if you need to cancel & make sure to contact your vets if you suspect your dog may have kennel cough. Hopefully this won’t spread any further 🤞

-❗️Polite Reminder ❗️-

Just a reminder to everyone that I am working completely solo again whilst Kristen is on maternity leave. This means that I can only groom around 5 dogs a day, as opposed to our usual 8, meaning I am booked well into the future.

My next appointment is the 30th of July. This is in 14.5 weeks time. If you have not booked at least 2 appointments in advance & your dog gets groomed every 6-8 weeks, I will not be able to get you in at your desired date so you will have to wait longer.

I will not be working well into the evenings in the summer like I have been doing as it is becoming too much. Nor will I be coming in on my days off to accommodate.

30th July 9am
2nd August 2:30pm
6th August 1pm
8th August 9am

Please message if you would like to book any more appointments for July onwards - just bear with me as I have an extremely busy month. Thank you for understanding 🐶
