Something I hear far too often when it comes to dogs.

Dogs don’t just grow out of behaviours, in fact the complete opposite.

Compare it to an addiction, the more you feed it, the worse it gets.

This is exactly the same for dogs, the more they are able to practice a behaviour, the stronger the desire is to do it again and the worse it gets.

Instead, look at how you can prevent the unwanted behaviour and then work on building value in an alternative behaviour.

Winnie is now looking for her forever home🖤

Winnie has been with me two years now and more than completed the training program I had in mind for her.

She’s the most affectionate girl, with so much to give. So easy to live with and is a pleasure to take anywhere with you.

She is good with people, whether you are a familiar person or a new person and she is used to being handled by new people.

Winnie has always lived with children and is extremely good around children of all ages, she’s very neutral and very aware of her surroundings, so not like a bull in a china shop.

She is totally neutral with dogs, both male and female and could suit a home with other dogs.

Winnie is fully crate trained, she is able to sleep overnight in or out of a crate and she can be left in there for periods of time throughout the day.

She has incredible obedience, is very handler focussed and keen to impress. She’s got lots of food drive is a very quick learner.

Winnies obedience is proofed both on and off the lead in pretty much every environment you could possibly think of, no matter what distraction.

She is fully e collar conditioned, but has reliable recall and obedience without it.

She’s is live stock avoidance trained, so can happily be around live stock without showing any interest.

Winnie is a very active and athletic dog, so she would need someone that can ensure she is getting plenty of physical exercise and mental stimulation, daily.

She is KC registered, from lines full of IGP champions, but is not suitable for a working home, just an active pet home.

She is not free, so please don’t dm me if you’re after a free dog that you can sell on.
You will be vetted by my self and I can offer you a life time of support, once her perfect home is found.

Dixie update for all those who have asked how she’s getting on🐾

She has been with me for 1 week tomorrow and we have had nothing but fun, she has been full of confidence since the moment I picked her up. Completely un phased by everything and put 100% into every situation I have put her in.
