Antlers 🦌
Our antlers are from both Red & Fallow deer.
Deer naturally shed their antlers during the months of February and March, they then grow back a new set throughout the rest of the year.
This makes them a fabulous, environmentally friendly dog chew.
The antlers that we buy are from Nova.
They are cleaned( with no chemicals), all sharp points taken off and then cut into various sizes/weights to suit any size dog

It so cold 🥶
Please help out the birds 🐦 🐦‍⬛
We have a huge range of food, including 🐦‍⬛Premium wild bird.. which is husk free, wheat free and also contains suet pellets
🐦Sunflower hearts.. contains high levels of oil and therefore ENERGY
🐦‍⬛ Robin and songbird mix.. a year round high energy food for all birds
🐦 Goldfinch/Siskin.. perfect for all your garden finches
🐦‍⬛ Peanuts and peanut granules.. and excellent source of vitamins, minerals, trace elements and high in oils & protein
🐦Suet pellets.. we stock berry, mealworm or insect.. and excellent and nutritional food, high in fats and calories which birds so badly need. Easily digestible
🐦‍⬛ Dried mealworms.. rehydrate them in warm water
Please note.. these should NEVER be fed to hedgehogs
🐦 Fat balls, suet balls.. just 30p each.. mix and match. Suet blocks and half or full coconuts
We bag up our seeds, so you can buy just what you need.

Other tips include
Scraps.. mild cheese, potatoes ( cooked) , pastry and cooked rice are all favourites
I also soak cat biscuits ( meat flavour) or pop out a tin of dog food.. the blackbirds and thrushes love it
We use Johnston & Jeff Ltd bird foods.. which is a great quality
You will find cheaper seeds on the market, but they contain lots of wheat.. perfect if the only birds you want to attract are pigeons.. and i love those too 💓

Huge thanks to everyone who gave us a money donation for barkin good times all animals rescue 🐕🐶🐱🐰🐴 before Christmas.
Today we took £235 to Croft Vets Bolsover and paid it into their account.
The rescue has just taken on these gorgeous little puppies from a cruel situation
The bill today came to £210 so the remaining £25 means that their account is in credit.. just for a little while 😬

Another successful release back to the wild for Charlie's Place 💕
The young cygnet who Simon helped cut from the netting on Allendale Park, Wingerworth yesterday afternoon was well enough to go home today
Her mate looked especially pleased to see her 🦢💕

When Simon isn't working in the shop, he has other things to do 😂💕
A massive thanks to Dave from 4 Moore Paws ~ check him out 👍..yesterday afternoon.
He saw one of the young swans inside the bowling green at Allendale Park, Wingerworth
He gave me a call, and I managed to get in touch with one of the bowling members who said he'd head over to help.
However, the swan had other ideas, and it managed to fly over the fencing, but then got tangled up in the netting on the cricket pitch 🤦‍♀️ Simon, along with a lovely man called Gareth managed to free it.
Claire from Charlie's Place checked it out, and although there was quite a bit of blood, the injuries were minimal
A night with them, some antibiotics, combined with a good meal, and it should be good to go today 💕
Please check out their page. They rely so much on public donations and they've helped such a lot of wildlife in Wingerworth lately

We did good again for Ashbourne Animal Welfare
You bought 191 packs of cards, making a total of £757.93
We had £156.50 in donations and we added another £500.00 from our book/jigsaw money

Combined, the grand total is £1414.43 🎉🎉
Such a fabulous amount.. THANK YOU to everyone who supports us ❤️

Reggie is a bit of a wuss 😳
Because he gets rather cold when he pops outside to the toilet !
So I had to find him a little jumper today to keep him nice and warm on his trips down the garden 🤦‍♀️
These jumpers are great value, just £9.99 and can also be worn underneath a coat for even more warmth
But don't let Reggie know that 😂
Although with the size of those ears.. he would not miss a word !!!!
