❤️❤️ Sizzles the sausage dog ❤️❤️
It’s been just over a year since he was diagnosed with IVDD. Unfortunately just 4 days after his initial surgery, he suffered a relapse and had to undergo surgery again! This all happened at the height of the pandemic so he missed out on a lot of follow-up support and physio.
However... now he is under our care, we are smashing his home care plan and rehab together 💪🏼❤️ 🐶

The gorgeous Buster ❤️ he’s just had his follow-up appointment and is doing brilliantly!

✅ initial Physiotherapy session
✅ saddle adjustments
✅ massage and stretches completed by his owner 3 x p/wk after riding
✅ all day turnout
✅ follow-up appointment ✔️ ✔️ ✔️

Just one more follow-up appointment and hopefully his problems are fully resolved and he will be able to go onto a maintenance plan requiring physio only twice a year ✅❤️ 🐎

A positive progress post to share with everyone, proving physiotherapy does work, especially if you stick to it. 😁😁🐶🐶 From non-weight bearing and suffering with neuropraxia following complicated elbow Y-fracture surgery... to toe touching... to fully weight bearing and walking amazingly today!! Look how much the 'head nodding' reduces through the video. Physiotherapy and hydrotherapy played a VERY IMPORTANT role in this little chaps rehabilitation!! Both of which are still on-going to ensure he has the best possible outcome and an enhanced quality of life... after all, he is only a puppy and has a long and happy life ahead of him 😁😁 #derbyshirevetphysio
