Just a reminder that I am off work on Saturday the 21st of December and start back on Monday January the 6th.

It's been a while since I've been able to sit down and sort some photos out. I've just noticed that I have several messages that Facebook annoyingly hasn't let me know about. I'll get those replied to tomorrow, sorry if you've been left waiting for a response.

Morning everyone.

Its going to be extremely muddy out there now after last weeks snow & rain.

I will do my best as always to give the dogs a bit of a clean up but please remember I cannot promise your dogs won't come home dirty.

Please ensure any furniture you don't want them to get on is blocked off, covered in a decent throw or nominate a room for me to leave your dog in after walks.

I do have a small selection of doggy clothing I can use to try help keep the dogs cleaner, however I can't guarantee availability of these as they are mostly sized for smaller dogs and are washed between dogs.

If you are providing your own clothing these must fit your dog securely (not be sliding around or coming undone) and must not hinder the dogs movement or able to absorb so much water it is weighing the dog down. Fleece jumpers, tanks and 4 legged suits or similar made from waterproof materials are ideal and are what we recommend where possible, particularly for dogs on group walks as they fit snuggly, dont have any/many fastenings and dont tend to absorb much water.

Try playing this if you have pets who are scared of fireworks.

Even at a lower volume it helps disguise the sound of the bangs and screeches but of course you can adjust the volume once you see how you pets react and get an idea of if it helps your individual pets.

Morning.

It is currently looking like there is only one road shut at the moment however there are still flood warnings in place and high traffic in places.

I am currently planning on working as normal but will be doing my best to avoid roads prone to flooding, will group dogs differently etc so please note that timings may be slightly different.

I won't update again unless anything changes in the next couple of hours. In the meantime if you hear of any problems which may affect me getting to you I will definitely appreciate any updates.

Tuesday clients.

If you are out all day tomorrow please be aware that quite a few roads have started flooding this evening.

This may mean I am unable to get to you tomorrow if it continues to rain all night so I would recommend having a back up plan if possible.

Finally got everyone added to the new invoicing system so you should all start getting invoices & receipts again starting tonight for next week.

Please check your details are correct and let me know if you don't receive the next one you are due.

I'm still due 5 payments from this week. 1 from a few weeks ago and 1 payment to secure dates for holiday care. If you haven't paid yet please ensure you do so in the next 24 hours. I will be toughening up on this again.

Just a quick note. I will be off on Monday the 30th for a medical procedure. I do have slots free on the other days next week for anyone wanting to change days or not booked in yet.

We have plenty of additional spaces available for the next 4 weeks due to a few client holidays.

If anyone needs any additional walks/visits let us know. We may also be able to accommodate temporary clients if anyone needs someone whilst their usual pet carer is away or another reason.

We have a newcomer. This gorgeous girl has enjoyed a solo walk with me today to start getting to know me and will be joining groups regularly.

Went out for an hour to try to catch the Aurora last night. 🌙
Not sure I had much success but definitely got better pictures than previous attempts. I've popped a couple on here
