Minnie has recently gone to America for her surgery everyone has been fundraising for to make possible for Minnie and her family. So we wanted to share an update. Thank you to all our wonderful customers who helped towards us being able to offer a donation.

My name is Minnie and with support I sat up for the first time in 4 days.. ouchies I’m very sore, but I am STRONG 💪! I’m out of intensive care and back on the cardiac ward with constant monitoring and lots of medications/ interventions ❤️.

I’ve had my daily chest x-ray, ultrasound, EKG, echocardiogram and all are stable at this time. I had my pacing wires removed, I had my chest drain removed (YUCKY that wasn’t fun!). I’m extremely exhausted today and needing lots of rest but I’m making progress! My heart is finding it’s new normal and I am playing in very short bursts! Everyone here is very proud of me and my determination ❤️

Hoping to continue this positive trend & that my heart does not retain any fluid overnight.. I will be having x-rays in the morning 🙏❤️. Aaaand breathe!

With the weather hotting up we thought we would share some of our Top Tips to help keep your Dog happy and comfortable.

Always remember to check temperatures before walks, check the pavement (if it's too hot for the back of your hand,it's too hot for their paws!) If you have to miss one day's walk it's not the worst thing, if it's too hot keep your Dog home and cool.

Naked Green Tripe.

Raw Green Tripe is said to be the protein of choice for raw fed dogs. We use green tripe because of the unprocessed properties it possesses. This means that all the nutrients and digestive enzymes are at their most beneficial.

Green tripe includes a range of nutrients, amino acids and essential fatty acids. One great advantage of green tripe is that it has a great calcium: phosphorus ratio of 1:1 and also ideal percentages of Omega 3 and Omega 6 fatty acids. The bacteria Lactobacillus Acidophilus is present in green tripe, this is a good bacteria that works against detrimental bacteria (Salmonella, E Coli and Listeria), which therefore helps reduce the risk of health problems associated with them.

The probiotics present in green tripe help to improve and maintain a healthy gut. This is why it is a valuable addition to a dog's diet who may suffer with digestive issues. Green tripe also contains digestive enzymes, these enzymes help to break down the food and enable it to be absorbed and utilised in the body.

Always feed your dogs raw green tripe as opposed to bleached tripe. Bleached tripe has been radically cleaned and has had all the beneficial properties removed from it. Raw green tripe is suitable for dogs and puppies of all ages. Our pre-made green tripe can also be used to tempt picky eaters and convalescing dogs.
