Beautiful Barley exploring scents....

It's amazing to think that a human nose has about 5 million scent receptors, but a dog can have as many as 300 million!!

Some dogs can smell things buried as far as 12 metres underground, that’s why there are so many working dogs trained to sniff out drugs, explosives, cancer and many other things.

Wonder facts!
Have you ever wondered why dogs lick their noses? It’s so they can pick up more scents.
Did you know that dogs can also wiggle each nostril on its own – can you? 😄

This sweet girl is such a bundle of excitement and joy in every walk we go on together!

Barley is full of beans and each day is a fresh opportunity to explore the world around her!

She absolutely loves chasing feathers and butterflies and sniffing out treasures that captivate her puppy senses.

Such a sweet girl, always up for fun and loves a cuddle, if you can get her to sit still for long enough! 🤗💜

Introducing.....

Margot! 🐾

This sweet girl was the very first to join Sheps Dog Walks.

I have been walking her for a while now and each week she grows more confident and affectionate.
Margot enjoys exploring the great outdoors, picking up scents and playing chase with other dogs.
She loves a cuddle and is a real home girl.

My favorite start to our walks together is how she greets me on arrival, her excitement and absolute joy in seeing me is so heart warming. 🩷

Hi,
I'm Caroline, a friendly and reliable part time dog walker covering the Chichester City area.

I am also a proud mother to two amazing humans! ❤️
I started up Sheps Dog Walks because I wanted to combine my love of animals, wildlife and the great outdoors with a job that I can fit in around my young family.

I offer fun, tailored dog walks, my motto being....

"NO VANS, JUST WALKS"

I believe it's important your dog gets the full 1 hour exercise they deserve from pick up to drop off.
I also offer feeds and company for your cat when you can't be there. 🐈

(Tailored Walks)
I collect on foot and make sure your dog gets all the attention and enrichment they need by visiting open green spaces, playing stimulating ball games and doing lots of mooching around the beautiful city we live in.

Maybe your dog is a breed with little legs and doesn't need to walk too far? or maybe your dog has entered into their senior years and needs a walk set to a slower pace without the energy of younger dogs? I can provide solo walks tailored to their ability.

I always undertake a free meet and greet with you and your dog first so we can get to know a bit more about each other and I can get a better understanding of your dogs personality and needs.

I am fully insured and DBS checked.

My availability for walks/feeds are;

(Term time only)
Monday to Friday 9am-2.45pm.
*All depending on where you are situated in Chichester.

Although I don't currently offer walks on weekends or in the school holidays, this can be subject to change if I feel it's suitable to walk your dog alongside my children and I am available.
