With the The All England Jumping Course, Hickstead Young Horse finals tomorrow, we are looking back at the Coombelands Equestrian Young Horse league finals earlier in the month.
It was a full house for our team this year winning all 3 young horse points leagues, and 2 x 2nds;

We are so proud of our gorgeous 5yo Okehurst Dragon, finishing 2nd of the British bred 5 year-olds at the British Young Horse Championships at Hickstead today, to qualify for the world breeding championships at Lanaken. We have had the pleasure of owning this lovely horse from a yearling, and watching him shine this week in a field of incredibly talented horses at this fantastic show has been such a joy. A big thanks to his Sussex-based breeders Angel and Jen for trusting us to produce your special boy! 🚀🌟

Coombelands winter league over for another year, with 3 league wins this time for our lovely team of horses!
1m league;
🥇 Indigo BH & Maisie (🥈 in final)
🥉 Comilfo Cat & Abbi (🥇in final)
1.10m league;
🥇 Kylie I & Abbi (4th in final)
1.30m league;
🥇 Okehurst Mr Mexico & Maisie (4th in final)

A big thank you to everyone at Coombelands Equestrian for putting on a fantastic couple of months of shows and a great 3-day to finish it off!

We are all set and looking forward to the Coombelands Equestrian Young Horse Finals next week! In the 5yo league we currently sit in 🥇 & 🥈 with Comilfo Cat SS & Je T’aime Okehurst. Okehurst Gallahad also sits 🥇 in the 6yo league, who last year won the 5yo league alongside his full sister Okehurst Boudicca who won the 7yo league!
The Okehurst Sport Horses 7yo league is currently led by Annie Platt! 🥇
If you can’t make it with horses, then it’s a very worthwhile day out to come and watch some fantastic showjumping in a brilliant atmosphere at a wonderful showground!
