As usual, our advents don’t just have one or 2 teeny treats in them, they have enough for at least 2 dogs to have a good amount each per day!

Just advance notice that we’ll be shut for a few days next weekend! We’re taking a trip that was booked months ago and as I’m still on my own in the shop unfortunately I’ll have to shut up shop!

Last open day will be Thursday 7th November and then we’ll be back open Tuesday 12th November!

Please pop these dates on your fridge or in your diary so you don’t run out of food!

I am waaaaaaay behind this year and haven’t planned one of our famous advent calendars but I’ve had so many people asking me for one this week that I was thinking of bringing back our 24 day chew boxes?!

Would people like them to make a comeback?

I haven’t got a huge amount of this pattern box but will obviously get some more and maybe another design…

We are OPEN! Thankfully the electrics seem ok, all freezers are fine, just need to clean and tidy up now! It will be a little chaotic as I’m still here on my own and there are still parts of the shop that need drying out so not everything will be in its place straight away!

If you need something that you can’t easily grab please ask me, don’t attempt to climb or squeeze yourself!

It’s not ideal but in the grand scheme of things there are far worse things happening around the world so I’m going to brush it off and get on with it 💜

Hi all 👋🏻

As some of you have seen we had a bad water leak (essentially a shower appeared in the middle of the ceiling) in the shop today caused by the top flat of the building and so we won’t be open for the rest of today. Providing the electrics are ok I’m hoping to be back in tomorrow but please bear with me as we had to move all of the shelving and stock out of the way and it’ll probably take me a while to get things back to normal.

Please keep your fingers crossed that there isn’t too much lasting damage and that insurance sorts it easily 🤞🏻

Hi all 👋🏻

My apologies, I’ll be in late today…

On my drive into work I found this little one struggling by the side of the road so pulled over and popped him in the car and went straight to Brent Lodge but unfortunately they don’t have a vet on site today so I’m taking him up to Arun Vets now.

Traffic around Chi isn’t looking great but I’ll get to the shop as soon as I can, I hope we’ll all agree that making sure no animal is in pain is more important than being open dead on 9am 💜

As you are all aware we currently shut at 4pm during the week as this works best with most peoples shopping habits! However I know a lot of you are now heading back to the office more and so the times don’t always work for you. I’ve been thinking about doing a later opening one day every couple of weeks (to begin with) but would like to know what day would work best for the majority of you! Please let me know in the comments which day would be best for you, I’ll then try and work things out to suit as many people as possible! If this works out to be popular then we’ll keep it going however if it’s not popular/utilised then we’ll have to rethink! As a side note, the rumour mill has been going around again that we’re closing down 🙄 this couldn’t be further from the truth! Last time the rumour came from another shop nearby so it might be the same this time but I can 100% say we are NOT closing! You’re stuck with us for a while yet I’m afraid 😂
