Mummy hen is going to need all the help she can get! It is her second batch this year and she is a great mum so fingers crossed. I would never recommend chicks this late, winter can be harsh, sometimes to harsh for babies.

Nothing modern about them as they date back to the 1880's. A wonderful and inquisitive nature they will follow you around "meeping" a wonderful chirping noise they make, wanting to know what you are doing. They will get into your heart and into your house one of my favourite breeds. They come in a good range of colours, this is Mini and she is a silver birchen.
