This is the reality ladies and gentleman, although using your card or tapping your phone/smartwatch..... or even using the apps where your card is stored is really convenient, it actually costs money somehwere along the line to use these services.

Where the fees used to be minimal, most businesses could swallow the cost in their profits. This last year has seen unprecedented rises in costs all round on everything, rents, business rates, insurances, stock or materials, wages and even utilities..... absolutely everything it takes to keep the doors open has gone up astronomically.

So if a business says they prefer cash, it's not to avoid paying the tax man, it's to just help avoid putting prices up even more by avoiding an unnecessary fee where possible.

Good evening everyone.

We’ve had a great response to our Pet Food Bank so far. We’ve received some kind donations and we are already starting to allocate food to local owners in need.

If you are struggling and think you could benefit from this service please do get in touch for further information.

We will rely heavily on donations so if you can help at all we would love to hear from you.
Maybe you have some pet food that your pet doesn’t like or perhaps you have food for a pet you know longer have.
Perhaps you could pop an extra tin of pet food on your weekly shopping order to donate, as a one off or on a regular basis.
Do you work for a company or small business that might be able to have a pet food donation box on display?

I’m sure you’ll agree we have all pulled together as a community in the past and we have no doubt this wont be any different.

Let’s help keep owners and their pets together, one bowl at a time.
