This is Archie, he’s around 16-17 years old now and I’ve looked after him since he was a kitten 😻 we have our routine in that he eats his food while I sort everything out, then #he lies on the floor waiting for his daily groom ❤️ listen to how happy he is 🥰🐾❤️🐾
Sometimes it’s not all about the cats! This little chap came down the chimney into a customer’s house, thou he was still in the chimney when one of the cats proudly alerted me to his presence; he was having too much fun to come down for breakfast 😂 after shutting the cats out of the room and leaving for a couple of hours, when I got back he’d come out by himself. It was then just a case of persuading him to fly through the window 👏🦜😻
Introducing new customer Mollie 😻 not a chance of getting her to stay still long enough for a photo so a video it is! 😂🐾❤️🐾
We come across so many of our customers who don’t realise that they can vent their double glazed windows, which is particularly useful at this time of year, and definitely in the next few days. Some of the older windows won’t do it, but all newer ones will. Look for the metal thing at the bottom highlighted in the video; there is also another one at the height of the handle.
Shutting your windows into these, instead of close to the frame, allows air to come and go and any indoor cats will love sitting by them. The window is still fully secure and you can also lock it as usual.
It can be a bit fiddly sometimes so always push the frame hard afterwards to make sure you’ve hit the right bit; if the window won’t move then you’ve cracked it. 👏
Hope this little tip helps you all stay a bit cooler. 🥵🫠🐾❤️🐾
Introducing new customers Cookie & Coco 😻 they spent the first week of their booking hiding upstairs; we’ve found a lot of the cats/kittens adopted during the pandemic are quite shy initially as they haven’t been able to meet lots of people. However, one day they decided to investigate their visitor and discovered an extra toy too. By the end of the booking Cookie was my best friend, loving attention and following me around. Coco would sniff me but then retreat, but that’s ok too. 😻🐾❤️🐾
Introducing new customer, Tenzing 😻 what a stunning boy! I have rarely seen such a dark tabby, he’s absolutely gorgeous ❤️ he had stayed in a cattery previously and understandably hated it; we were recommended to his parents and as you can see he’s sooo much happier staying at home and doing his own thing 😻🐾❤️🐾
I highly recommend these barrel scratchers, I have 2 of them already and as you can see Red can’t even wait for this one to come out of the box! Also available in beige. 🤦🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️😻🐾❤️🐾
Beautiful Oti & Rhona have had a few short bookings with me already, but today they decided to make friends at last. I’m sure by the end of this booking we’ll be firm friends 😻🐾❤️🐾
Lots of our customers, just like gorgeous Mikey here, enjoy drinking from a running tap 😻 they usually jump up to the sink and ask me to turn it on for them 😂🐾❤️🐾
Little Kitty, featured yesterday, was really shy with me at first and hid under her blanket for the first two weeks of their booking. Now she is usually already out and sitting on the bed when I go upstairs 😁😻🐾❤️🐾
An elderly neighbour of a customer approached me the other day and asked if I would feed “his” pigeons for him as he had to be out all day today and they would be waiting for their lunch. They were! All I can say is WOW!
FB will only let me post one video, check out my Instagram account for all 4 videos @katz_at_home
I love this beautiful, beautiful boy Max 😻 one of a pair of stunning Bengal brothers who are regular customers 🐾❤️🐾
Introducing new customer Mikey, a super smoochy young man 😻 here he’s figuring out the toy I left him to keep him amused while his family were away 🐾❤️🐾
If your cat likes using a treat ball it’s a great way to feed them their biscuits as it slows down their eating and keeps them occupied at the same time. 😻🐾❤️🐾
💥💥Gone to their new home 😻 💥💥
Looking for a 5⭐️ home for these beautiful sisters 😻 they are approximately 12 wks old and are half Siamese, half opportunistic tomcat!! 😂
They are not keen on young children and will need outside access once they are spayed and settled into their new home.
They are shy at first, one more so than the other, but they are gaining in confidence every day. I would love for them to go to someone who will stay in touch. ❤️🐾❤️
Thanks 👍😁
