Meet Maya and her owners. I had my second session with her last Friday. She is such a quick learner and reminds me a lot of my Elsa when she was a puppy. Itโs fare to say I am enjoying my sessions with her. โค๏ธ๐พ๐ฆฎ
Meet Winnie a dog with a voice. ๐ I have been looking after this beautiful girl and her friend Hamish the cat for a few days. There company is greatly enjoyed. Myself and Dig Dogs Dog walking and Pet Sitting (Steve and Sophie) teamed up to help cover a period of house sitting for these lovely two. Iโm so glad to have been able to spend some time with them.
I have had so much fun over the weekend. On Friday I worked with Tigger and his owner. We came up with some new fun ways to improve his off leash walking. I also had a fantastic session with Marley and his owners working on his recall. ๐๐พ๐
Over the last handful of days I have been doing confidence building games with Marley, Dottie and Rosie. A confident, optimistic dog is less likely to react to people and dogs, more confident when outdoors, easier to handle at the vets and generally a lot more chilled making your life as the owner a lot easier. These games are also great brain games and enriching for the dogs they get them problem solving, sniffing, searching, burrowing which are all things that dogs enjoy doing naturally. ๐พ๐ฆฎ๐โ๐ฆบ
Another brilliant session with Marley and his owners. Marleyโs doing so well and his owners are excellent trainers. ๐ฅณ๐พ๐ฆฎ๐โ๐ฆบ
Today I had such an awesome walk with Tigger and his owner. We talked about and put into practice tips and tricks to help gain a super recall. As you can see those tips and tricks definitely worked. And from a spaniel who at the start of the walk wasnโt too keen to come back when called we gained a spaniel that sped back each time. ๐ฅณ๐พ๐ฆฎ
I showed Bunzy and his owner the fun in playing Ping Pong today. Bunzy took to this game really well and his owner enjoyed the game to. ๐พ๐ฆฎ
Today I started my puppy training course with Marley and his owners. We worked on building an attention cue and used the mouse game to help train sit. Marley did really well and we all had a lot of fun. ๐พ๐ฅฐ๐ฆฎ
You donโt always have to walk your dog! There are so many different ways to physically and mentally stimulate your dog from a game of fetch or tug to dog agility or from puzzle games, hide and seek to trick training. There are endless possibilities for tiring out your dog and bringing enrichment into there day. ๐พ๐ฆฎ
Real life recall with Chunk today. He smashed his walk with me and his owners today. His lead walking is coming along nicely and his recall is brilliant. ๐ฅณ๐พ๐ฆฎ
I have been having a go at some trick training. Trick training can be a great way to bond with your dog. What tricks does your dog do? Let me know in the comments. ๐พ๐ฆฎ๐
I had two incredible training sessions today with Dottie and Blossom. I am full of glee at the results. I also got called the worldโs best dog trainer by one of my clients daughters. It is fare to say that put a smile on my face. โบ๏ธ๐พ๐ฆฎ๐ฅณ

Yesterday I had two brilliant sessions I was so excited by the progress made in just one session. Penny has really improved on not barking at the doorbell and was starting to get the hang of speak and quiet. Tigger In just one session was a lot calmer and started to quickly realise that jumping up was not what his humans desired and that being calm was a good thing. Here you can see him smashing the wait cue. I was so excited to see these results and the excitement on my clients faces. ๐พโบ๏ธ๐โ๐ฆบ๐ฆฎ
