Independent Dog Trainer and Pet sitter. Hello my name is Emily Neate and I own Pawz and Tails Dog Walking and Pet sitting services.

I have 6 years of experience working within a veterinary practice as a kennel assistant and student veterinary nurse and have a Level 3 Extended Diploma in equine management. I have a full understanding of The Animal Welfare Act 2006 and a passion to ensure the best care for you and your pet/pets. My goal is to be able to give you and your pet a service in which will ensure your pets welfare by g

iving them exercise and the loving companionship that they require. I am proud to be a member of the National Association of Pet Sitters and Dog Walkers and am working on becoming a member of the Guild of Dog Trainers through undertaking in their online courses in dog training and behaviour. I have a passion for animal behaviour and am working on expanding my skills so that I may offer a dog behaviourist service in the near future. My closet companion is my golden retriever Elsa and you will often see us out and about talking to every dog owner we meet. I love people and I love animals.

I have the honour of house sitting these two and 5 cats for a little while. Meet Lupin (Great Dane) and Milo (pug). Lupin is a giant softie towards myself and I feel very safe in his paws. Milo is a snuggle bug. 🐾🐈‍⬛🦮❤️

So… I now have an occupation as a cushion. Mac has spent most of his day draped across my lap. He is such a sweet boy and loves cuddles. I have the privilege of looking after him for the long weekend. 🐾🐕‍🦺❤️

Some of you may have noticed that i have recently laid off a bit on my posts and dog training clips/ reels… Recently I have been working very hard on finishing off my Victoria Stilwell Dog Training Academy course in order to bring you some new exciting dog training experiences for 2025. Here are some pictures from a mock group dog training class I had a go at a couple of weeks ago. 🐾🦮🐕‍🦺

This weekend I have the pleasure of spending some time with these lovely four. Zelda (White doggo), Maisie (Black doggo), Skylar and Shameria the bengal cats. They are all lovely and love cuddles. Arnt they a gorgeous group. ❤️🐈🐾🐕‍🦺

Today I had a catch up session with Lucky and his owners. Lucky pics and choices the dogs he wants to be friends with, we have been working on teaching him how to stay calm around other dogs and how to disengage from them. He has been doing really well his owners have done a fantastic job with him.

This week I have been looking after Nugget, Misty the cat and 4 chickens. It’s fare to say I really enjoy spending time with this lot. Nugget is great fun and has a great character, Misty sleeps a lot and the chickens… Well so far they have been well behaved… 🐾🦮🐈‍⬛🐓
