Yesterday I had my second puppy training class. I had a lot of fun and I hope my clients and their pups did too. We worked on some leash walking and also some polite greetings on leash alongside trying a couple of other fun tricks and games. 🎉🐾🥳🦮
Today I sore Chester and his owner. I haven’t seen them for a little while so it was great to catch up with there progress. Chester wanted to show of his leash walking progress and I gave his owner some tips and tricks on how to power up his leash walking skills. They both did great. 🎉🐾🦮

Meet Jackson a dog with mixed emotions towards over dogs. I am helping him and his owner with his reactivity through the use of a positive reinforcement method DMT (Distraction, Mark, Treat). We are using high value treats paired with something he afraid of to help change his mindset. He has been doing extremely well. His owners are also amazing with him. 🥳🐾🦮

Yesterday I had my first session with this gorgeous pup Chester. He smashed the mouse game and was able to hold a sit/ down for up to 10 seconds by the end of the session! 🐾🦮🥳

Meet Winnie a dog with a voice. 😂 I have been looking after this beautiful girl and her friend Hamish the cat for a few days. There company is greatly enjoyed. Myself and Dig Dogs Dog walking and Pet Sitting (Steve and Sophie) teamed up to help cover a period of house sitting for these lovely two. I’m so glad to have been able to spend some time with them.
I have had so much fun over the weekend. On Friday I worked with Tigger and his owner. We came up with some new fun ways to improve his off leash walking. I also had a fantastic session with Marley and his owners working on his recall. 🎉🐾🐕
Over the last handful of days I have been doing confidence building games with Marley, Dottie and Rosie. A confident, optimistic dog is less likely to react to people and dogs, more confident when outdoors, easier to handle at the vets and generally a lot more chilled making your life as the owner a lot easier. These games are also great brain games and enriching for the dogs they get them problem solving, sniffing, searching, burrowing which are all things that dogs enjoy doing naturally. 🐾🦮🐕🦺
