Just got back from the specialist with Pecco.
Sooo happy to say that all seems to be going well and in the right direction! He now has the stitches out that we're keeping his eyes semi closed. He still has a few in the corner from the op.
The grafts are holding and doing their thing so 🤞 It continues that way! We have a long road still to travel but at least we are on the road to recovery!
He will be very pleased that there are slightly less drops in his eyes as well! Here is a pic of his beautiful eyes open for a change.

Quick little update on Pecco a week on from his Op.

He is allowing us to medicate his eyes without any fight! Taking all his oral meds like a trooper! Such a sweet boy!

We are off to Bristol in the morning for his checkup. 🤞 We have done right by him!

Take a little peek round the shop!

A lot of the time I can actually be cheaper than the bigger stores. Sometimes I can't compete. 😌But please rest assured I will always be doing the best possible price for my customers. There are always little deals on in the shop, As well as the loyalty card where you can save money and get free gifts as well! Not to mention up to 10% off when you get your food on subscription!

Evening all! Apologies for thr delay in the update... literally just finished mucking out & feeding the kittens. Now onto Peccos many many eye drops & ointments!

Pecco is doing well considering his ordeal. He is feeling rather sorry for himself understandably so.

He is taking a small.ampunt of feed from my hands. But is currently confused about life with a buster collar on. Once he works out he can continue with life normally with it on, he will be fine.
His meds are currently keeping him docile so he doesn't over do things. Although his running backwards away from the buster collar earlier was both sad and funny to watch and probably enough exercise for today.
Right! I must go and bathe his eyes and then get some more drops in! Then get some tea!

Thanks to everyone who has donated. And who may donate in the future... I haven't totalled up the bill yet but the £800 + so far will help massively! But please keep sharing! 🙏

Operation day for Pecco!

Wish this little lad some luck for his eye op today. Thank you to everyone who has donated. Still got some deficit, but I wasn't going to wait and let him suffer and longer... Hey peeps! We need your help please!
As some of you know we have been hand rearing some kittens and this poor chap is their uncle. We really want to get him the treatment he deserves and needs. I promise I wont ever put a personal fundraiser on here again. I know times are tough right now, But if you could spare even just a pound we will be grateful! I will do my bet to make up the difference somehow!

So the kittens had a checkup, now they are 4 weeks old. I'm pleased to say they are all doing well! We came home with some wormer as expected and a manicure! (And possibly some new mums 🤣) Thanks to Macqueen Vets for taking good care of them!

Someone handed in this little creature the other day. He was found on Chippenham Highstreet! I put him somewhere safe and completely forgot to post that we have him in the shop.
He has been earning his keep by keeping an eye on the little kitten bundle.

As some of you may have already noticed when you have been in the shop the last 2 days... we have some little cuties making lots of noise when they are not sleeping. 🐈
These VERY cute, just over a week old bunch of kittens are keeping me extra busy at the moment. So apologies if I am feeding them when you arrive. I will be doing my best to give you the level of service you guys expect- through the wailings of hungry kits! 🤣🤣

But they are very cute so we will forgive them!
