Maybe this helps.. if you’ve got a new dog/puppy and you’re starting training, we like to use a command word and a treat at the same time, eventually you’ll be able to drop the use of treats and the word will be praise enough.
We also like to finish on a positive note, so if your dog is amazing at sitting/down etc, finish your session with that!
