(12)

Alice has considerable experience as a dressage trainer having produced riders and horses from Novice to Grand Prix (Including the more ‘grass-root’ amateur level which they enjoy doing too). Alice's training background provides a huge pool of techniques from which to draw upon when discussing specific horse or rider technical problems. Alice and her team get real satisfaction and pleasure from pr

oducing combinations at all levels and offer training of riders and horses at their premises. They can also look after your horse while you are away on a short or long term basis so that training is not interrupted. Horses can be stabled at the livery yard for training livery and concentrated courses. We also offer private tuition at AP Equestrian for visiting clients (However they do not provide dressage schoolmasters and tuition can only be given on clients’ own horses). All levels are welcome - if it's your flatwork you want to polish up, we can help.

Busy week competing! Took Clare Jordaan's Sezuans Serenity and my own Noa Le to their first party last Saturday . Noa Le got 73% and just got a little enthusiastic in the canter! Carrot got a bit distracted by another horse calling so bit to wobbly. Megan Tucker rode Metallica for me and did a good job. Took same horses back for another go today and Bella ( Noa Le) finished her winter qualification at her 2nd show with a win. Carrot was so much better to gain 71% , she's such a sweet 4yr old. Quick dash home to swap horses and take Insanity back to do the PSG. He did a nice test to gain +69%

happy with Sarah Hodgson's Bolero on Sunday gaining +74% Nov . Really feel his balance has improved recently and lovely comments from the judge. I survived the warm up on Newton D and then did a lovely test ! Vespasiano was also on form for medium win . Fingers crossed they keep it up for nationals in a few weeks time.

Regional champion Vespasiano!
I'm over the moon with gaining another Regional title this weekend! Kate Pfistermuller's Vespasiano winning the elem yesterday. Then 2nd in the PSG on John Byfield's Insanity. So chuffed with all 3 boys last few days! There are so many people to thank- to my lovely owners who make this possible. Lee for making them look amazing and being such a great support. Steve Summerhill vets,Shelby and Glen Taylor for feet and backs. Carl for training and all my lovely home team regionals

Two days at Hartpury regionals in the sunshine. First day Sarah Hodgson's Bolero found atmosphere slightly daunting and sadly got his tongue over the bit in the Nov. Some lovely parts once he settled and sorted out his tongue! He was such a good boy 2nd day to come 6th in a super hot prel class on +72% . For such an inexperienced horse I was very proud of how he coped and settled so well. Kate Pfistermuller's Vespasiano felt lovely and came 4th in the medium on +71% , a few little mistakes cost us a direct ticket but fingers crossed for a wildcard. Sadly he got a swollen leg on day 2 just before we got him ready for elem so had to withdraw. Nothing major just bad timing! Was great to spend some time with my lovely owners and watch some great tests. Thank you Lee for taking great care of the horses and making them look gorgeous and all the team at home.

Good outing to Hunters yesterday with Newton D winning the Nov on 72% and Bolero close behind in 2nd. Newt did nearly bronk me off in the warm up but knuckled down to do a lovely test! Dillon ( Bolero) is coming on really well and now I need to keep everything crossed for regionals next week with him. Fourseasons Sienna was a bit sassy and not quite on same form as Friday. Don't think she appreciated 2 shows in a week!

Good day in the hot sunshine on Friday at Prestige. Helen Lomas's Fourseasons Sienna winning the elem on over 71% and Vespasiano winning the med on 75% , unfortunately a few mistakes in the PSG with Insanity cost us a few too many marks to get 66% #

Bit late posting last few competitions. Last week at Burrows Court started well with Newton D winning Nov qualifier on +77% and Bolero close behind on 75% , really pleased with both boys and then Fourseasons Sienna got +71% in the elem. Then I had 7yr old semi's at Hartpury with Vespasiano, he was a good boy but a massive discrepancy between the two judges over walk mark cost us dearly and anticipationHunters where Vespasiano won the medium on +72% so good practice for regionals.
in 1 change was expensive. Then onto

Really happy with Newton D on winning form yesterday at Burrows Court gaining 2 × over 74% tests and managed to score a 10 !. He's sharp but so talented. Interesting conditions with torrential rain in the warm up to glorious sunshine during second test!

Stunning PSG horse. 16.2hh 11yr old gelding by Johnson. Spy is a true gentleman . He's got the looks, temperament and ability. Successfully competing PSG and shows ability for piaffe and passage. 3 excellent paces. He's off the leg but not silly or spooky. He's lovely to handle, hack and the same at a competition. Super small tour, young rider or amateur's dream. looking for a new 🏡 as sadly his owner passed away. Substantial 🥕 for this adorable horse. Please pm for more details

Lovely day in the sunshine competing at Hunters. Sarah Hodgson's Bolero was a good boy yet again to just be pipped into 2nd place on collectives in the Nov qualifier. Then John Byfield's Insanity 2nd in PSG. This is the first test we've done together so a few little blips. Such a lovely horse that someone will have loads of fun on as he's looking for a new home . Last but not least Kate Pfistermuller's Vespasiano felt much more confident at adv med to get 68.79% , still loads more to come from him. Thank you Lee for making them all look fab and Chloe

Great to be competing in the sunshine again! Wednesday took Sarah Hodgson's Bolero to do his first Nov. He gained +71% with a few mistakes to come 3rd. So pleased with how he's coming on in a short time. Kate Pfistermuller's Lucia-A won her section of med qualifier and Vespasiano did his first adv med, few too many green mistakes to gain marks he's capable of but did do adv med 98 so quite a ask for 1st 1 !

Vespasiano felt amazing but a little hot yesterday at the Winter championships. So sadly got a bit spooked by a noise at 1 end which cost us dearly. He just wasn't as settled as his usual self, although still some lovely bits. His run up to the champs wasn't ideal with time out and only 1 practice run before in gale force winds! So missed a top ten placing this time. Fingers crossed everything runs smoothly now to show what he's capable of this summer as he's such a special boy . Thank you Lee for making him look gorgeous and Kate and David for being such supportive owners championships

Managed to dodge the showers yesterday at Hunters with all 3 ! Fourseasons Sienna felt good in her trot work but found medium canter on a circle a bit exciting in the elem. Lucia-A was calmer in the adv med but rider sat nav error was annoying 😑 Cynheidrefawr Creme de la Creme was great until he felt he needed to show more 2 tempis than required! So all in all not a bad day but lots to improve on ..onwards and upwards!

Trip to Hunters on Wednesday with Fourseasons Sienna gaining points for elem summer regionals but some wobbly bits kept her marks down a bit. Cynheidrefawr Creme de la Creme then was good in the majority of PSG but uncharacteristic mistakes in changes was expensive! Lucia-A then got upset in the warm up with 2 horses getting a bit closer than she can cope with and launched upwards, had a few minutes to settle which wasn't quite enough! She then unfortunately showed more tension than I've had recently as went into racehorse mode! Managed to get qualifying marks so not dreadful but came away with plenty of homework!! riderpilatesclub

Great outing on Wednesday despite the weather! Kate Pfistermuller's Lucia-A was on form and gained +75% in the medium qualifier and 73% advanced medium and Helen Lomas's Cynheidrefawr Creme de la Creme finished on 69% in the PSG. Really pleased with both and good start to summer qualification. Thank you Lee for making them look lovely and Tracey and Chloe for all your help.

Well mixed emotions about my regionals so far ! Kate Pfistermuller's Lucia-A was turbo charged first day and showed too much tension in the medium. Came 3rd medium music and advanced medium music not good enough to qualify sadly but she settled as time went on so have to take something positive from that. Helen Lomas's Cynheidrefawr Creme de la Creme was hyper yesterday and didn't go his best in the Int 1 but came 4th. Better today and 3rd in the PSG. Then I'm cringing writing this Vespasiano was awful 😖 got really silly about the music and did about 20 changes..started on 8s in trot and finished on 4s in canter! He's never let me down before. Think the cold weather has got to all 3 a bit ! Onwards and upwards for summer I guess!! Thank you Lee for making them look fab and everyone keeping the yard going at home @
