Jill Holt is a quallified BHSII instructor who teaches at her own yard and also local riding clubs and pony clubs. Services include:
Private or group lessons can be given onsite or Jill is willing to travel, enjoy a lesson in your own enviroment. Jill is experience to help with difficult or problem horses.
1hr private - £47.50
45 mins - £37.50
half an hour - £25 (only when 2 or more is in one plac

e)
1 hour group - £20 per rider
available for clinics, xc lessons can be arranged at various places (Rabson Manor, Downlands), rider to pay xc hire plus £20 per person (2 or more riders)

Full Clip - £50 - legs and saddle area left on and half a head
Blanket Clip - £40 - half a head left on
High Trace - £35
Low Trace - £30
Legs can be removed for an extra £10.00
Whole head an extra £5.00
Legs only (without clipping the body) £10.00
Mane pulling - £10.00
Tail pulling - £10.00
Feathers Trimmed - £10.00

I’m delighted to say that I will be running a mini day camp for Junior riders on Sunday 18 August. The day will involve:

10am - Arrive
10.30 - ridden lessons
12.45 - lunch
1.30 - stable management lesson
2.30 - Games
3.30 - finish

£60 per child
All children must be accompanied by an adult throughout the day.
Bring a packed lunch, snacks and drinks.

Gus and I competed today for Bath Riding Club Area 9 Show Jumping qualifier at Rectory Farm Arena. We managed Team 1st 👏👏👏👏 Well done Team! and individual 5th. What a lifesaver my was this weekend! Not only is it lightweight and waterproof, but it dries incredibly quickly!!! I was amazed that after hanging it up for a short while, I returned to find it completely dry! I cannot recommend this coat enough!

Gus, show jumping today 🥰

Today Gus and I did our second event together, at Waverton House. He was an absolute star in the dressage, the heavens opened and it absolutely poured down during our test. He finished his dressage on a score of 31. Show jumping was very wet and slippery under foot but the sun was shining . He jumped a lovely clear round. We still need work on our steering 😆, but that left us in third place 😬. Sadly I retired him Xc as he was flying (for him), taking on the fences really well on soggy ground. Sadly he’s still not the bravest to water and the water at Waverton isn’t the kindest for a young very green horse. He was genuinely worried about it so I retired. Back to more schooling and hopefully without scaring him he will become braver into water. Gus never likes to say no, so he is genuinely worried about it. Onwards to next weekend where he will be representing Bath Riding Club Arena Eventing team at Aston le Walls. Super proud of Gus today, it’s finally all coming together. We still have lots to learn but today he managed to canter round two show jumping rounds in a fairly good rhythm, now to work on the steering 😆😍. He jumped clear in the 75cms and one down in the 85cms to finish 7th. Tess (Yocasta) did very well, this was our first go at Medium level dressage. Very exciting 😊. We managed 66+% with an error 🙄, even with a caller 😆. Thanks Jenny for calling our test!
