We are a family business based in Brinkworth, near Royal Wootton Bassett which sells chickens, chicks, hatching eggs, chicken drinkers, chicken feeders and chicken feed, bales of haylage, hay and straw as well as eating eggs.

We are open this Bank Holiday Weekend for collection of POL Lohmann Browns, which are 19 weeks, fully vaccinated & wormed. These ladies are £17.00 each.
We also have Heygates Layers Pellets in 20kg bag, which is £11.00 each.

"My 2 are called Angel and Stitch (named by a kid after cartoon characters..) doing well and producing 2 eggs every day, tho they roosted in the field maple tree early evening day one and in the neighbours bay tree day 2, they are now much better behaved thanks to the mealy worm treats each eve"

We currently have some of our old layers looking for new homes. These ladies are Lohmann Browns and are 15 months old. They will be £2.50 each to catch.

We have POL Lohmann Browns, these ladies are 17 weeks old, fully vaccinated & wormed, they are £17.00 each.
Lohmann Browns are very easy to manage and are usually exceptionally friendly birds. Lohmann Brown are a brown with white accents on their neck and tail feathers. The classic brown hen!

We have had requests to open so that some customers can have eggs. We will be open tomorrow (Monday 5th August 2024) evening from 6.45pm to 7.15pm for customers to come and collect our free ranging eggs from our farm.
Our eggs are £2.80 per dozen.
We will also have bags of hay and straw plus heygates chicken feed available. Our chicken feed is £11.00 per 20 kg bag and our bags of hay and straw are £1.20 each.

We have POL Speckledys available, they are 17 weeks old, fully vaccinated & wormed.
Speckledy is a very friendly and inquisitive hybrid chicken, they make lovely pets as they are easy to handle and have calm natures. They are gentle, docile and very hardy, they are a fantastic all-rounder chicken. They are solid, confident and not flighty and can lay up to 300 medium brown eggs a year, so you can enjoy having plenty of fresh eggs every day with this gorgeous laying hen.

We have POL Bluebells available, these ladies are 17 weeks old. The Bluebell is a classic large hybrid chicken, robust and very pretty with a lovely blue plumage that ranges from pale to darker in tone sometimes with rust colouring through the neck. They have a calm temperament and are not known to be aggressive or flighty. Friendly and confident, they make lovely pets and are good in most mixed flocks.
These POL chickens will be vaccinated and wormed.

Brinkworth Farm Story

We are a family business based in Brinkworth, near Royal Wootton Bassett which sells pure breed chickens, hybrid chickens, chicks, hatching eggs, chicken drinkers, chicken feeders and chicken feed, bales of haylage, hay and straw as well as free ranging eating eggs.

We stock a variety of pure breed chickens and chicks as well as point of lay hybrid pullets at around 18 weeks of age which all are suitable for the garden or your small holding. We have found that chickens are brilliant to help children understand where food comes from, children enjoy collecting the eggs in the morning.

We sell eating eggs from our farm, as well as providing free delivery service. All our eggs are laid by our mixed flock of free ranging chickens, the chickens have their own field to roam and scratch around on, no matter what the weather is like.
