⚠️Urgent Appeal⚠️

Meet Percy, a sweet and gentle senior cat who is in desperate need of our help. 💞

After losing his beloved owner, Percy arrived heartbroken and in need of love, care, and medical attention.

This affectionate, elderly boy has shown nothing but love since arriving, purring and seeking attention from everyone he meets. It’s clear he was once cherished and well cared for, but now it’s time for us to give him the second chance he deserves.💙

Percy requires urgent dental surgery to treat his dental disease and alleviate his mouth pain, including a few dental extractions.

Due to his senior status, comprehensive blood tests have already been carried out as they were essential to ensure it was safe for him to undergo anaesthesia.

Percy’s age means he needs to visit the veterinary hospital for his procedure, where he can receive the specialised care he needs.🏥

During his surgery, Percy will be given fluids to support his vital organs and be closely monitored using advanced equipment to ensure his safety.

Dental X-rays will allow the veterinary surgeon to see beneath his gumline, helping to prevent future dental issues and hopefully reduce the need for additional anaesthesia down the road.

In addition to his dental needs, Percy also has a mass on his left shoulder, suspected to be a cyst.
To prevent having to go through another anaesthetic and help him feel more comfortable, this will be removed during the same procedure.

Percy is a gentle, loving boy who deserves nothing less than the best possible care, however, complex dental procedures of this nature can come at great cost.

A huge warm welcome to “handsome Hank” who has many endearing names used by his family, but this is the one ☝️ we mostly use 🐕 😎

Hank joined us w/c 3rd February for weekly get to know you/socialisation walks, and he’s now in residence with Jess and her family, including furry fam members Buster, Brea & Kali whilst his family enjoy a Half Term Holiday.
He’s a beautiful young biddable learning to adapt and settle in differing environments, whilst also developing skills of how to remain calm and respect social space when interacting with other dogs.
The main thing is that, Hank is Happy, his Paw-rents have peace of mind when he is in our care and that we are aligned with them in his training methods/commands to support his growth into a lovely adult dog with evolving needs.

We look forward to watching you grow and learn Hank 💙

Today we welcomed Furbulous Freya to our Cotswold K9 family for walks/home visits and plenty of face rubs as her Pawrents will need some flexible support on a more ad-hoc need basis.
A spirited, affectionate older lady with a beautifully soft coat..maybe the Irish ☘️ in her 🐾 True to form for her breed, she barked when we arrived and left the meet n greet, this is due to their breeding history as farm dogs so when new people approach their home or family they guard/bark - good job Freya 👏🏽 She soon recognised we were friends not foe 😊

🍒 💕We now have a bra bank! It’s a fantastic way to recycle bras for 💕🍒

Our bra recycling scheme takes your unwanted or unloved bras and through our network of bra banks raises vital funds for pioneering breast cancer research.

Together with our recycling partners, our textile recovery project prevents these bras going into landfill before giving them a new lease of life.

Successful ventures like this provide employment and an income for people living in the UK. Any bras that are genuinely beyond redemption are dismantled and disposed of properly.

For every tonne of bras collected, Against Breast Cancer receives £700 to fund our research. With over 30 million women in the UK you could really help make a difference!
