‼️WANTED‼️FULL TIME LIVE OUT GROOM - Great Tew, Nr. Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire.
Live out, full time groom position available for a competent & experienced groom on a professional, friendly & fast paced yard with a mix of hunt horses, race horses, event horses & ponies.
We're looking for someone who works well as part of a small, dedicated team & who enjoys a variety of work week to week. The yard owners are hands-on, running the yard & riding on a daily basis, doing transport & looking after livery clients. The opportunity to travel to competitions & racing is available. A capable rider with experience of handling & riding young horses is preferred & there are opportunities to ride our horses Point-to-Pointing for the right person.
Our yard has 26 indoor stables on a country estate in the Cotswolds, close to Chipping Norton. Facilities include indoor wash bay, indoor walker, laundry & drying room, internal tack room, large outdoor all weather arena, great hacking, circular gallop, XC schooling facilities & all year round turn out. 🌟 Live-out groom required for mixed use yard in the Cotswolds due to an increase in horses.

🌟Full or part-time position available for competent and experienced groom.

🌟Friendly and fast-paced yard with a mix of hunting, eventing, racehorses and ponies.

🌟Successful candidate must work well as part of a small, dedicated team and enjoy a varied workload week to week. The full time position would require a 5.5 day work week mostly starting at 7.30am and finishing at 5.30pm, start and finish times are varied depending on time of year and hunting or competition timings. 🌟The yard owners are hands-on, riding on a daily basis, running the yard and looking after livery clients. Candidates experienced in working with livery clients would be a bonus. You must be kind, polite and trustworthy!

🌟The opportunity to travel to competitions and racing is available with a HGV licence preferred. Must have high standards of turnout, including plaiting and clipping.

🌟Capable rider with experience of handling and riding young horses preferred.
