SMARTIE 🦄

15HH rising 6yo bay section D gelding

Smartie is super fun, is absolutely loving his hunting, he stands at the meet, good with hounds, polite in gate ways and jumps all the hunt jumps sweetly. All in a snaffle. Has been hunted by a 12yo child.

He’s smart on the flat, and works well in all 3 paces.

Smartie loves to jump and has been and done multiple arena hires, pole lessons and jumping rallies.

He’s easy to shoe, box, load, travel etc.

He can be a typical Welsh when leading around if allowed to walk over you. With us he can be lead around by children. So for this reason he is not going to be available to a novice or a nervous person.

We are looking for a fun, active home for him wether that be a hunting home, riding home, pony club home etc.

He is so much fun and loves to work.

Considering moving on my little pocket rocket, Penny 🚀

Penny stands at 15’2hh and is 6 years old. She’s a Irish Draught x ISH grey mare.

Penny will only be available to a BSJA or hunting home because she just does not like dressage and is just too buzzy to ride on the flat. Put a jump up or take her hunting, she is absolutely golden! So I see no point making her do something she hates. Hopefully there is a keen person who wants to jump and talented horse up the levels? Or have a fantastic proven hunter? Or both? Summer and winter job 👌

Penny started BS only a very short time ago, her first BS competition was in fact the 22/8/23. Since then she has won £196 actual, and has achieved 96 points!! She has won at British Novice and has already jumped two double clears at Discovery coming 2nd & 3rd. She has so much more scope and ability to give 😍 she incredibly clever, gets herself out of trouble, quick thinking, fast against the clock and turns very tight. Everything you need in a showjumper!

Penny has also hunted two seasons in Ireland, and is currently autumn hunting with me now, aswell as team chasing and lots of hacking.

She’s a total legend. Super fun. Super safe. Just gets very tense and ‘hot’ in the flat work. She is fantastic to do anything with, shoe, box, catch and clip etc.

Her record speaks for herself and she has a bright future 🦄🦄

Lucy is a lovely genuine approx 13.1HH 12yo black cob type mare. Lucy has done all ping club activities, camps, rallies, and a tonne of hacking. She hacks alone and in company and has seen lots of traffic, great in open spaces and is as sweet as they come. Lucy has hunted with previous owners and made a great hunting pony. She jumps all fillers, water trays, combinations calmly and honestly. She is a great XC pony and goes through water, over ditches, and steps etc. A true proven pony club type. She would suit most riders, could probably take the nick out of a proper novice, but would be fine if the parents knew what they were doing. Sad sale and good home wanted.

Kizzy is a super fun aprox 14HH 11yo coloured mare. She has attended all pony club activity’s, camps, XC events up to 80cm and is always coming home in the ribbons. Done lots of intro dressage comps however jumping is her favourite thing. Kizzy is exceptional to hack alone or in company, not spooky, not sharp, has seen plenty of traffic and loves going through open fields and having a canter. She behaves really well at shows just as she would at home. She has hunted loads in her previous home and made a great hunting pony. Kizzy is so easy to do, good in every single way and has an awesome temperament and loves kids, great to handle and enjoys being fussed. Kizzy has been in the same home for 6years and it’s a super sad sale, so top home is so important for this jolly, happy and fun pony. Monty

16hh, 7yro ISH gelding by Grade A Showjumping Appaloosa stallion “Rodega Zadoc” out of a proven hunting mare.

Monty is homebred and has had a late start to his ridden career through no fault of his own, being only just professionally backed. He is currently hacking out alone and in company confidently and is ready to start his proper education with someone, he has not had any schooling of any sort other than loose schooling once with us, showing a great shape over a fence.

Chester is a beautiful model of a TB by Stowaway. He is eligible for ROR. Standing at 16’3hh and 9 years old. He has had 18 months retraining now. He’s done plenty of dressage at intro & prelim, showjumping and cross country training and competing. He moves well and goes sweetly in the arena but would need some more work to improve in places, however jumping is what he prefers and where we believe his heart is. He jumps for fun and is brave and genuine. Chester is a fantastic hack, alone or in company and seen plenty of traffic and good in open spaces. He is currently autumn hunting with the Beaufort and absolutely loves it. He’s fabulous with hounds and stands like a rock. He’s sure to make a wonderful hunter! He’s got a very loving and kind temperament and is super easy to deal with at home. He loads, catches, clips, and is good with the farrier. Chester would most suit a ROR home for someone that would love to continue the retraining of a top quality TB, a riding club home, hunting or team chasing home where he would be kept busy and give someone a lot of fun. He has no known vices.

Lucky 🍀

Approx 14.3hh, 4yro ISH homebred gelding with some SERIOUS top class breeding! Out of a top quality palomino 148 ISH mare who is by Grand Touch (chestnut Grade A stallion that jumped 140’s internationally), grandsire is Touchdown (Grand Prix SJ winner many times over, & member of the Irish Olympic SJ team). Touchdown is also a foundation event stallion whose progeny have won many 5* events, including Badminton. Sire is Shinglehall Senator (by Carnival Drum).

Lucky has only recently been gelded and professionally backed. He is a serious quality little horse with a sensible attitude. FLINTSTONE 🫶🫶🫶 Freddie is a gorgeous 4yo 16.1 approx chestnut gelding. VIP is a incredible mover. She has 3 uphill, expressive paces with a fabulous canter. Soft snaffle mouth and has the basics regarding her schooling. She has lots of scope to match with an Impressive back end. She has attended showjumping lessons and jumped some cross country fences. She is bold brave and genuine. VIP hacks alone or in company and has seen plenty of traffic and is good in big open spaces. She has been produced slowly and correctly being that she is a big horse, and she has the makings of being a great competition horse for a ambitious amateur or even a professional but equally level headed enough for a competent riding club/all rounder home. She has a lovely temperament and a really exciting horse for someone to put their own stamp on and produce into any Discipline. She is not suitable for a novice purely as she needs someone to continue and further her education. This is gorgeous Pearl who we had in on sales livery towards the end of last year. 🤩 She comes back ‘home’ to us every school holidays from Stonar school 🩷🩷 We just absolutely love hearing about the lovely horses and ponies that come and find their new homes through our lovely yard near Badminton.
