This group work hard to ensure our parks are safe, accessible and fun to explore 🥰

This week is small charity week 🥳

We might be a small charity but together as a team we have done mighty things. We are all unpaid volunteers gladly giving our time to make the Rec. a great place for us all to enjoy 💚

All the amazing things that have been achieved have been paid for with donations or grants.
In 2009 before FOCRG was started Chislehurst and Walden Recreation Grounds were barely considered an important part of Chislehurst. Many residents were unaware of their existence, or they believed them uninteresting or unsafe.
Fast forward 15 years and look at the Recs now. New playground and a new club house for FC Elmstead. An amazing Gardening Club, bear carvings, drinking fountain, bee corridor and table tennis tables and a covered bench to mention a few 🦋

As everyone is aware this week is going to be very hot 🥵 ☀️ 🌡️

I will be messaging everyone individually the afternoon before your scheduled walks with me to discuss your dogs suitability for walks/visits so please keep an eye on your phones 📱

I will not be walking any elderly dogs, puppies, underweight or overweight dogs after 10am and will only conduct walks where there is running water or wooded areas 🌲 🌳

Any dogs who cannot be walked will be offered 30 min visits for safe play and company at their home if nobody is home with them during the day ☺️

Thank you everybody for your understanding and please appreciate that your dogs safety is what is most important ❤️

And just like that a whole year of RGK9 has flown by! Starting with just a vision and some hope to then getting my first clients - Ronnie and Rocket - to now having over 25 regular clients is just amazing 🥰

I couldn’t possibly thank my clients more for trusting me with their beautiful dogs and cats day in and day out. It’s been wonderful to see some puppies grow, some dogs gain confidence and everyone enjoying their walks with me!

This year has been incredible and we’ve grown much quicker than I ever could have expected! I can’t wait for what the next year has in store for us all!
