Meet Fiona 💕

This beautiful girl was found straying and no one came looking for her.

Fiona is only 11 months old and is a fair sized girl. She currently weighs 31kg and can be very bouncy at times. There is no malice in Fiona, she is just a young dog that needs guidance on how to behave. Fifi as we call her, is very food motivated and this will help with training.

Fiona is a pleasure to be around. Although she can be nervous of new people and situations she quickly overcomes her insecurities by seeking the guidance from her handler. We don’t think that she has had much experience of the real world but is happy to try new things at a steady pace.

Fiona could live with children if they are used to a bouncy larger dog. Although Fifi has assessed well with other dogs on walks, we feel she would benefit from being the only dog in the home. She has shown a keen interest in cats so homes would also need to be free of small animals.

This youngster really does have so much love to give and will make a wonderful addition to a very lucky family.

Our onsite tearoom serves hot and cold drinks, sandwiches, cakes and other snacks. It is open from 1.30pm – 4.30pm, 6 days a week.

The tearoom is run by volunteers. We currently have a vacancy on Wednesday afternoons. The tearoom can be busy and is a friendly place to work. If you enjoy meeting people and are happy to serve food and drinks and take payments, please submit an application form.

Just some of puppy Bailey's adventures this past week in our care every day and an overnight stay with me too. She's such a loving, confident happy little girl and we all wish her all the best for her surgery Monday 💘🙏🐶

IMPORTANT CLIENT NOTICE 🌞🐈🌡🐕‍🦺

Due to extreme heat this week, I can only commit to a maximum of 30 minutes walk for ALL dogs, avoiding lunchtime too.

I will start work @7.30am till 12.30 & then back out from 2.30pm till 4.30pm.

I am happy to do 2 x 15 minute visits instead of a walk am & pm to toilet dogs, to break their day for you.

If you would prefer just one garden/toilet visit for 15 mins that's OK too.

Please let me know days you need my help and if am or pm or both.

15 minute garden/toilet visits are £5 solo dog or £10 multiple pets.

1/2 hrs walk £10 and £5 extra for each additional dog.

If you do not need any help at all this week let me know ASAP (working from home, kids off school or simply its too hot for your dog outside)

Meet Barney who's absolutely crackers but VERY gorgeous with it too. I'm privileged to have been chosen to dog/house sit for him for a whole week whilst family enjoy thier holiday. To say it's been fun and the bond we have made is just lovely....roll on day 5 tmw for more adventures with Barney Boo 🩵
