It's with a VERY heavy heart ❤️ that the lovely Scampi passed away yesterday 😢 💔

It's part of my job that I HATE but I'm so happy I was chosen as his dog walker and feeder (greedy boy).

My heart goes out to his owner 💔

RIP Scampi Scoops...I'm going to miss you so much and thank you for being such a good friend and so kind to all your doggy pals

PLASTIC STORAGE BOXES WITH LIDS NEEDED

Space and storage at the charity is incredibly limited and causes an ongoing challenge to us all. Your kind donations of goods need to be kept safe and clean until they can be sold either in our shops or at our events. Much of our storage comprises of sheds and outside buildings which can be subject to the elements.

To help store items safely, we desperately need large, plastic storage boxes with lids, to protect items in cold or damp conditions. It would also make a big difference to how donations can be moved around and accessed, helping us to sell items quicker and raise all important funds for our animals.

Can you help?

If you have any boxes with lids similar to the pics below that you no longer need, and are willing to donate to us, please bring them to reception. It will be a huge help, THANK YOU! 😊

These two little ones are still waiting for new homes if you are the right person . They are quite skittish and love to play and would make someone very happy . We would like them to go together but home separately so they get a loving home . Although very happy with us they would be even happier in a home . If you are interested please email so you can come and meet them .

What a miserable day, all day long from 1st dog walk at 07.30 till last one ended at 16.00. Thank goodness for my Gorilla Robe (cheaper alternative to dry robe)....I may look like an utter twit but I'm a dry twit! Here's a few photos of my wet walks & companions

Meet Fiona 💕

This beautiful girl was found straying and no one came looking for her.

Fiona is only 11 months old and is a fair sized girl. She currently weighs 31kg and can be very bouncy at times. There is no malice in Fiona, she is just a young dog that needs guidance on how to behave. Fifi as we call her, is very food motivated and this will help with training.

Fiona is a pleasure to be around. Although she can be nervous of new people and situations she quickly overcomes her insecurities by seeking the guidance from her handler. We don’t think that she has had much experience of the real world but is happy to try new things at a steady pace.

Fiona could live with children if they are used to a bouncy larger dog. Although Fifi has assessed well with other dogs on walks, we feel she would benefit from being the only dog in the home. She has shown a keen interest in cats so homes would also need to be free of small animals.

This youngster really does have so much love to give and will make a wonderful addition to a very lucky family.
