Today was my last walk with Yoko, who after a few awful weeks of illness, will soon no longer be with us. Thank you for being a part of the Wansbeck Walkies gang. You’re an absolute sweetheart and you’ll be a huge miss for me and your family. Lots of love gorgeous girl ❤️

Dog Owners – Please respect the lead

✅ Do check with other owners before letting your dog interact with a dog on the lead

✅ Do follow the 3 second rule – they can sniff and introduce themselves but after 3 seconds take them away – it's best to keep meetings brief

✅ Do remember that a seemingly friendly dog may lash out if approached when on a lead

❌ Don’t let your dog run over to a dog which is being kept on a lead

❌ Don’t let your dog off the lead if you cannot easily recall them

Last week, I stayed with the lovely Betty & Maggie during Storm Isha, which brought multiple power cuts - a first to deal with while pet sitting! Also pictured is newbie Bess, who is a retired Guide Dog, and Loki holding on extra tight to her toy in the strong winds! And of course, a round of up of some of my regulars (& some irregulars too…!) 😁🐾💨

Thank you SO much for every present, card and tip I’ve received from my lovely customers and friends - I have been so lucky and my heart is so full ❤️

This time last year I was miserable in a job that I didn’t enjoy, and I didn’t receive so much as a thank you from my manager, never mind a card. To know I’m valued & appreciated by you all and doing a job that I love is the best thing ever.

Although I’m sure you all think your dogs have driven me to drink? No complaints here haha 😂
