Another busy doggy week at the stables dog paddock. Hats off to everybody dedicated enough to stand in a field, while their dogs enjoyed a good run around in rough February weather. Charlotte from Pawtastic Dog Walks in particular.

In our first week, we've had a few visitors that have looked like they have enjoyed the space to run at the dog paddock, despite the bad weather. It is so good to see dogs enjoying the freedom, something we know is important, especially for those with poor recall. We plan to add features to the area to increase interest and activity in the near future.

The Stables Dog Paddock terms of use.
The Stables dog paddock is a strictly DRIVE-IN only facility.
Therefore we will not accept any persons arriving at the venue on foot, or without a pre-arranged appointment, as it is set within an agricultural setting with a private drive entrance.
This is a temporary, securely enclosed dog training/walking area of approx. 1 acre including a parking area enclosed by a secure 1.8m/6ft high fence. Dog owners will be able to hire the field for 30mins or 1 hour periods, up to a maximum of 4 dogs supervised per person, upto a maximum of 8 dogs allowed in the area at any one time.
Current Pricing:
30 minutes up to 2 dogs=£6, further additions £2.00 per dog.
1 hour up to 2 dogs=£10, further additions £2.00 per dog.
We will be enquiring what dogs you are bringing when you contact us to make a booking.
Due to our current insurance restrictions, we are not able to accommodate any dogs that come under the Dangerous dogs act 2024.
We want all visitors (dogs and human) to enjoy their time at the paddock, but please observe the following rules:
• All visits will be pre-booked and no-one will be able to turn up speculatively.
• The field will be booked exclusively for dogs and their owners to walk/train their dogs.
• Please be prepared to leave the field with 5 mins to spare for other users that will be parked in the waiting area.
• All dogs must be kept in the vehicle until you are within the secure field and the gate is shut securely
• On exiting the field we expect all dogs to be in the vehicle also.
• Dogs & Children must never be left unattended in the dog paddock.
• Children under the age of 16 should have adult supervision at all times.
• Dog field is designed to be used by dogs only and young children should remain under parental supervision and not allowed to climb on any equipment/fence.
• Dogs should be supervised by their owners/handlers at all times
• Owners/Handlers must clean up after their dog and taken away with them
• Water can be provided, but bring your own bowls

“The Stables Dog Paddock” owners, agents and servants shall not be held responsible for any damage, loss or theft caused in respect of any equipment, animal, vehicle or other property used in connection with the facilities
