Our team welcomed a new arrival! Introducing ‘London’ the leopard gecko, our latest resident at Pets Corner.

She is settling in well and the people we support are loving spending time with her! 🦎

📢 Lizzie is back! 🦎

We’re overjoyed to share that Lizzie has been found and safely returned to us after three long weeks! She's lost some weight, but after a vet check-up, she's comfortably back in the safe hands of the team.

For now, Lizzie and our other animals will stay in a temporary location as we work towards reopening safely. We still remain closed.

A huge thank you to the police for their help, Sarah from Live Foods Leyland for generously providing live food for Lizzie, and to our amazing community for spreading the word and sharing our posts. We couldn’t have done it without each of you! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts 💚

Lizzie the Gecko Update ❗

Lizzie has still not been found. We had a lead today, but unfortunately, it turned out not to be her. We will continue our search.

Regrettably, Pets Corner will remain closed until further notice, and all of our animals continue to be looked after by the Pets Corner team.

📢 Important Information - Please Share ❗

Pets' Corner was broken into last night and sadly vandalised. While only small, replaceable items were taken, our resident female leopard gecko, Lizzie, is missing. Lizzie will be extremely distressed outside of her comfortable environment, and we urgently need your help to find and return her.

All other animals are safe and have been temporarily relocated for their protection with the help of local organisations.

We have notified the authorities and are fully cooperating with their investigation. If you have any information about Lizzie’s potential location or details regarding the break-in, please contact us or the police.

We will be temporarily closed until further notice 💚

A crazy fact about leopard geckos is that when they shed they actually eat their own dead skin as it is filled with nutrients that keep them healthy!
