Life at Hudora

Many years ago Roger worked in an office and Margaret was a secretary. Clock watching became the theme of the day for us both so with three dogs and a cat and our true love of animals we decided to up sticks from Cumbria and venture totally into the world of animals.

It was extremely hard for a number of years. Margaret started working at the vets and remained there for many years gaining invaluable experience, while Roger was looking after your pets. Hudora was previously a side line but we were determined it would become our way of life. Over the years two Catteries and five Kennel Blocks were built by ourselves. There were never enough hours in the day even though we worked from morning until night.

We both became experienced in obedience training and worked our pets at Championship level. Margaret also trained her Cocker Spaniel in agility and entered shows.
