We are disappointed to announce that Sundean Vets Cinderford will stay temporarily closed for a little longer. This is due to the refurbishment taking longer than expected.
Please be assured our branches at Lydney and Hartpury are here for you, and you will expect the same level of expertise and support.

As you are aware of our earlier posts we are having some work done to our practice.
However due to unforeseen circumstances, we will be closing from 15th July at our Cinderford branch.
We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. We were hoping to stay open longer, however this is not possible.
Please call our number as normal , and we will be at our Lydney and Hartpury branch to assist you.
Please note this is a temporary closure due to refurbishment, and we hope to be back at our Cinderford branch on the 16th September, this is is all goes to schedule.

LUNGWORM THE FACTS! Lungworm is a nasty parasitic worm that can be fatal if left untreated. It can be caught from slugs, snails and even frogs! Avoid leaving any consumables outdoors when not in use to prevent the likelihood of contracting the parasite and use preventative measures which are all available in practice. If you are concerned about lungworm please give us a call and don't forget, if you are on the Pet Health Club- Lungworm preventative care is all included in your plan!

🦔Hedgehogs 🦔 Over the last few weeks we have had an increased number of hedgehogs brought into us across all our branches. Hedgehogs are having a tough time of it at the moment with the lack of consistency in the weather, and we’re finding that they are being brought into us underweight for this time of year and not ready to hibernate along with having a heavy worm burden (see video). So here in Cinderford two of our staff members have decided to set up a hedgehog rehab between them to give them the best chance of surviving the winter and to be released back into their natural environment. To help them in their quest we would be greatful for any donations of such items as newspaper and cat food to help keep our prickly friends healthy.
