📣***Volunteering Opportunity***📣

Autumn at the sanctuary means one thing for certain, more wet and muddy towels and blankets! Therefore, we are looking for committed laundry volunteers to assist our kennel and cattery teams to keep on top of the washing load!

It’s important all our animals have warm and cosy kennels and pens, so clean and dry bedding and towels are essential.

Volunteer Laundry Tasks include:
• Sorting, washing and drying of laundry
• Using large washing machines and dryers
• Folding and storing clean bedding and towels
• Keeping laundry room and surrounding area tidy

Volunteers will need to be reliable and trustworthy with the ability to follow instructions but largely work unsupervised. On occasion there may be a canine assistant available to keep you company, although we can’t promise they are much help with the laundry!

Please also note, Holly Hedge is not on any public transport route so you will need to be able to get to and from the sanctuary.

Can you offer baby Nina a loving home? 🍼🐾

Eleven-week-old Nina arrived at the sanctuary after she was found as a stray. 💔

Sadly, despite being found in a small village, no one came forward for her, and it’s feared that she may have been dumped. 😢

As described by her foster family, she’s the best! She has the best all-around personality. She’s confident, she’s cuddly, she’s playful, she’s gentle… she’s simply the best! 💖

She’s the type of kitten that nothing seems to bother her, as long as she’s surrounded by those she loves the most, she’s happy and it’s safe to say you will hear her purring before you see her! 💖

Adoption meetings will take place in her foster home in Chalgrove. 🏡

Nina is looking for the following type of home 🏡
👶 Can live with children
🐈 Can live with other cats
🐶 Can live with a dog
🏡 Will need outdoor access once neutered and vaccinated
