Friyay!

30/01/2025

Today, Molly and I visited , allowing Jester to enjoy some time away from the riding school while I focused on sharpening my skills and learning to ride Homer over larger fences than I attempted last week. These excursions are vital for both us as riders and our horses, as they contribute to ongoing development, education, and provide a much-needed dose of enjoyment to prevent monotony and support mental well-being. Our primary principle is clear: horses always come first.
Who will be joining me next week? Emily,Sophia or Angie? 🤔

Back to Friday lunches minus a couple of bodies. We said goodbye to Lucy this week and Scarlet has flown the Greenhill nest and gone to work in Australia.
Meanwhile we enjoyed lemon, chilli and garlic chicken with roasted Mediterranean vegetables and crusty bread.
We will look forward to welcoming our newbies into the fold at the end of the month and hope they enjoy their Friyay lunches as much as we do. Thank you Jason.

Sarah is a friend and client of Greenhill. Even if all of our followers donated a £1 and clicked on the gift aid button, she would be raising a lot of money for a very worthy cause.
Please donate and let’s get her to her target.
Thank you from all the horses and ponies at Greenhill.

Want to join me in supporting a good cause? I'm running 31 miles in January to raise money for MND Association. Six people are diagnosed with motor neurone disease (MND) every day in the UK. However much you can donate, £10 or £100, will make an impact. Anything helps. Thank you for your support!

Ongoing training of Team Greenhill is so important, not only for future development and progression through the BHS stages, but is also for me to see the livery horses progression and level of schooling. It’s a win win situation.
Well done Team G, we all have a clear plan of action for your 2025 BHS qualifications.

It’s been a long and sometimes difficult 4 months for Isaac. He sustained a horrible field injury and we have to say, it was pretty grim at times.
However with the fab care and attention of the staff at Greenhill and of course his owner, he has finally come back to controlled exercise. Well done Scarlet for being the test pilot.
Perseverance and dedication with a large dose of unwavering optimism has got him this far.
Well done Team G and we’ve got there.

What a dawn treat that was. Thank you Lucy for capturing the calm of a winters morning.
