Mavericks!!

We have moved locations!!!
From Cirencester to Cornwall we now offer our services in the beautiful South West which is full of doggos !!

We can still help with those who currently have on going therapy and welcome any new paws in the local area 🐾

Mavericks!
We have been offline for a little while but I’m pleased to announce that we are back up and running as normal!
Whilst we’ve been away little Maverick turned 4!
That’s right, 4 years old!!!
Do you know that some foods can cause behaviour problems in our doggos? This could be a simple solution to an on going issue!

Happy Friday wee Mavericks !!
Sorry we haven’t been posting much recently ! Life has been extremely busy but none the less we have still be keeping on our toes with behaviour training!
How many of you have also been hit pretty hard with Storm Gareth?
Mavericks home has been really bad but none the less, he is still going out for his daily walk in prep for his first event in just 4 weeks!!
Where do you like to take your doggo for a walkies? At the beach? Park? Woods?

Now that all this white, cold stuff has moved on for the time being, it’s time to enjoy going for long walkies again!
No one likes to admit it but how many of us dog owners take a look outside at the weather and think “oh we will just have to either go later or tomorrow because of the weather”.

Most owners are guilty of it from time to time, however it is so important to remind ourselves that this is a crucial need for a dog in order for them to have a happy life.

One walk a day could be enough to change the behaviour of a furry friend who may have some slight little traits that we aren’t too keen on!

How long do you think we should walk our dogs for daily?

Do not panic, this doggo was definitely a seal in his former life!

As Christmas draws closer please remember that even if your poochie gives you the puppy dog eyes and begs for food, avoid over indulging them! They only have little bellies and rich human food can often cause a lot of problems from vomiting to severe diarrhoea.

By all means, give them a little nibble on something nice like a slither of turkey but remember, they don’t know when to stop so we as the owners must!

At Maverick Mutts we strongly believe that any dog behaviour issue can be resolved with some time, love and attention.
Most doggos or puppers will have a little trait in them that makes you angry, but they do not understand what you are asking of them unless you help them to SEE.
