She is a very sweet and friendly girl.
About 3 years old.
She is a medium cross breed (small Labrador size).
She can be strong on the lead when walking past people and dogs as she likes to say hello to everyone.
We haven’t mixed her with dogs here but she’s not bothered by the other dogs boarding in the kennels.
She is very good with children and just wanted to be everybody’s friend.

Please note -
We have a family funeral on Monday the 2nd. Please make sure you pick up and drop off within our opening hours as the people coming in to help us out with the dogs and cats will not have time to deal with customers as well during the day.
The gates will be shut out of hours.

It’s been lovely catching up with our lovely customers who have rung to book in now holidays are finally allowed to ahead again.
So excited to see all your fur babies again and meeting some new ones.
Thank to everyone that has had to bring their pets in over lock down for various reasons for keeping me sane!

Please remember to bring your up to date vaccination cards with you when you drop off due to the fact we haven’t seen some of you in the past year.

Our boarding facilities will remain open throughout the lockdown and you can contact us in the usual way to make and cancel appointments. We continue to ask that only one family member per animal makes the drop off/pick up and masks are worn. We will continue to take precautions and ensure Saxon Lodge is a safe environment for you and your pets.
Grooming will still be available however this for the time being can only be done for animal welfare purposes (matt removals, skin problems etc) rather than aesthetic.

The Christmas period is a busy time for us and often there are lots of customers in and out over a short time. Please remember to keep a 2 meter distance, wear masks and please wait until you are called into the office (1 customer in the office at a time).
If possible we ask that only one customer per family, drops off or picks up your pet.
Hand sanitizer is available and the staff at Saxon Lodge Kennels will be wearing masks and sanitising hands, the card machine and door handles between customers.

Hope everyone is keeping well. Due to the new guidelines coming into effect over the next couple of weeks we have started to have more customers wanting to book in.
All bookings previously made are still booked in so if you don't need them still (I know some holidays are still being cancelled), please let us know. Thank you to everyone who has already done so.

We have received new guidelines for kennels and Catteries. As well as emergencies ie.hospitalisation, we are able to look after key workers pets, shielded or vulnerable people’s pets if needed as long as all precautions are taken when bringing them in. I can also collect.
Hopefully we will looking after your pets for much nicer reasons in the not too distant future.
Look after yourselves and give those fur babies a big hug from me. I am missing seeing them all.

Although we have closed as per the government Covid 19 guidelines, If anyone finds them selves having to go into hospital and unable to look after their pets and have no one else to help with them, we will of course look after them until you are well enough to do so. x

To all our lovely customers (and owners)🐶🐱

We will be closing Saxon Lodge Kennels and Cattery as of today.

We haven't taken this decision lightly, we have elderly parents living with us and the safety of our family, our customers and your families are our upmost concern.
As soon as we and the government feel it is safe to re-open we will do so and very much look forward to looking after all our four legged friends again soon!

We will be contacting everyone in due course regarding your booking and cancelling, we will be reviewing the situation at all times.

▪️covid-19▪️

After yesterday's annoucement regarding covid-19, we will continue to carry on working.
We are lucky that we can make sure to keep on top of cleaning and disinfecting all surfaces, door handles and anything else coming into contact with each pet owner.
We are a corona free zone!!! 🤞
So unless anything happens between now and your booking, it'll be booked in as normal.

We will be able to continue this way, as long as you help us too!
If you have come into contact with anyone with the symptoms or are feeling any symptoms yourself, let us know and if possible please arrange with someone to pick up your pet(s)

This will continue until further notice.

We know flights, holidays/stays away may be cancelled or changed but please let us know if you have to cancel your booking.

As you may know the kennels is currently closed, this is for refurbishments around the kennels and cattery. We will be opening again on the 1st of March. There are going to be a few changes here at Saxon Lodge. We have changed the opening hours and price slightly, we will be updating everything over the next few weeks, Thank you for your understanding
