Firstly I wish to apologise to all my customers for my absence and lack of communication. I have been in a very dark place since I lost my precious Mia. I have almost had a breakdown through grief. Everyone who knew us will know that Mia was the most important little being in my life. Losing her has had such a profound impact on me and my mental health. I have never suffered anything like it in my life.
I’m just letting you all know that to save me paying rent on an empty shop my equipment will be moved to Pink flamingos dog groomers in Clacton where I will run the business from there. As soon as I am up to it I will see you all again. But the lovely Julie who runs Pink flamingos has very kindly said she will take care of all your doggy’s until then. Please go to Julie’s as she is lovely and will care for them until I’m back which shouldn’t be too long. She has all your record cards so will know how to groom them for you. It is with deepest sadness that I have to tell you that Mia was put to sleep today.
She was my absolute world and I loved her more than anything on this planet. My heart is shattered into a million pieces.
Please give me some time to overcome this overwhelming grief. I’ve just lost my best friend. X

I thought I should let everyone know why my shop has been closed this week. My little dog Mia is very poorly. She has aspirate pneumonia. She wasn’t a well dog to begin with,with a host of health issues, so to now be battling such a serious condition is very hard for her.
We all love our dogs deeply and to see them so unwell is heartbreaking. I cannot justify taking her to work as she is far too unwell. There are no guarantees with aspirate pneumonia as it can go either way. I thank you for your patience while we wait patiently to see how things turn out. At present she isn’t showing signs of much improvement. Prayers for my baby would be greatly appreciated.
