Was I silly starting a dog walking, pet service in the summer? 🌞

Absolutely not 🐾

Companion visits are a pawfect chance for me to earn the love and trust of your babies( as well as you), it gives me a chance to learn their behaviours and personalitys before taking them out of their safe space.

Did you know, it can take 4-8 weeks of regular contact to fully bond with a dog?

Come the cooler weather us and your pooch will be best of friends and can enjoy stress free walks together, knowing they can trust the person at the end of their lead.

I'm overwhelmed by the response I've had and the clients that have already put their trust in me. ✨️

Bertie and maisie's visit 🐾
Their mum had froze some banana licky mats for them, so they had a lovely treat to keep them cool.
Played some ball in the shade of the garden, done some tricks and games to get their minds ticking 🧠 refreshed their water bowl, potty breaks given and most importantly had some cuddles!

See you both later for dinner 🍽 😋

🐰🐹Keeping Rabbits and Guinea Pigs Cool in the Summer🐹🐰

Hot weather can be tough on small pets like rabbits and guinea pigs. Here are some tips to keep them comfortable and safe during the summer months:

🐹🐰Provide Shade: Ensure their hutch or enclosure is in a shaded area. You can use shade cloths or move them indoors if it's too hot outside.

🐹🐰Ventilation: Make sure their living space is well-ventilated. Use fans to circulate air, but avoid direct drafts on them.

🐹🐰Hydration: Always have fresh, cool water available. Add ice cubes to their water bowls to keep the water cool for longer.

Looking forward to our walks and companion visits with these 2 🐾 🐾

Dogs should not be walked in this weather 🥵♨️🔥
Aim for walks before 10am and after 5pm if possible and definitely do not walk anytime if the temperature is 21° or higher.
Elderly, young, long coated and flat face breeds suffer the worst.

And remember playing games, doing some training, and any other mental stimulation is just as good for them as a walk 🐾
