We have just over a day to raise as much as we can towards our monthly JustGiving fundraiser 😓

Sadly, we still have so many vet costs we need to pay off and sometimes everything seems to hit us all at once at times, which makes things more difficult for us. We are really concerned about how we will be able to continue as a rescue if we can’t keep on top of things.

We really need your support more than ever to help us to continue the important work that we do. Donations as small as £1, £2 or £5 really do go such a long way in supporting us. Update: Sadly the pigeon was due to be transported and passed away upon collection 😔

A huge thank you to Lilly Bennett for rescuing the pigeon and to Laura Skingle for your offer of transporting.

Out of respect we will be removing the photo of the poor injured woodie.

Our lovely little Oscar also had urgent surgery yesterday after the lump on his stomach kept bleeding 🥺

Thankfully his surgery went well and he had a possible tumour that needed to be removed.

Some of you may remember Oscar after he was rescued back in November 2024.

Obviously this is something that Oscar needed to have done, but this has left us with more vet bills to pay off 😰

In total his costs came to a total of ❗️£376.14❗️which was for his consultation and surgery costs. We will link Oscar’s proof of vet costs in the comments below.

Our lovely Jack who has ongoing dental issues was in for more dental work yesterday ❤️‍🩹

The vet said that his inscisors were quite long and his molars were touching. He has had his teeth corrected and will require lots of syringe feeds as he normally does after his procedure. He will need to go back again in 3-4 weeks time.

This boyo never ceases to amaze us despite everything he goes through ✨ a huge thank you also to his Lauren (Jack’s forever foster carer) for providing him with such amazing care.

If anyone has any pennies to spare to go towards Jack’s dental costs it would really be appreciated. His costs came to a total of ❗️£222.64❗️for anyone who would like to support him. We will link the proof of his invoice in the comments below.

🚨 £1 Wednesday - WE NEED YOUR HELP 🚨

Sadly we are still paying off £1000+ of vet bills with costs continuing to grow. It breaks our hearts but due to this reason we are currently closed to further intakes until we are back up on our feet again. We really do fear for the future of the rescue and we hate to even think about having to close our doors when small animals need places like us to remain open.

We currently have many residents with ongoing issues who we also are focusing on who require regular vet visits, ongoing medications and care. Supporting us this £1 Wednesday will really help us to support them ❤️

Sonny originally came to us mourning the loss of his friend. Here he is today in his forever foster home with his new bud, Piggy, who also lost his companion 🥹

Sonny was a little untrusting at first, but he just needed time to realise that Piggy was no threat. Piggy has been an absolute sweetheart with Sonny and it’s safe to say that they are now both bonded and are lonely boys no more.

We would like to say a HUGE thank you to Chloe for all the hard effort put into this lovely bond 💕

This is why us and our foster carers do what we do!
